Where did you live?I spent a few years at 7500' it took about a year to become fully acclimated then I was the athlete at work(natural blood doping)
Big Bear Lake, CA close to the ski resorts (boots on close).
There ya go, me skiing in front of my house. My eldest is behind me and that resort is behind her and now @BobBitchen knows precisely where I lived

I was weened on those fishsticks ! A great choice for fine dining ! I loved them tender little morsels as a youngster , whatever they were ( assholes , eyeballs and skin ? ) .

Finally rounded up the last of the components for my July 4th party ( weather
permitting . Have been getting downpours and a shit-ton lightening and very high winds all week . Forecast looks kinda shitty . These are components for the outside of the "hull ". This UfO is a slow moving beast.....max altitude 1027ft.

Correct - I worked on more than a few canneries in Kodiak - Surimi (fake crab meat) is also usually pollack, which is even better than Pacific Cod or Halibut when fresh.
I love that stuff, pollack, yum. Now I want fish salad for lunch, damn it!!

Try these if you haven't....I put one on this morning as I'm hurting still too and I am working today. About to re-hang a HPS light...I thought I was done with these things!!
Hmm I was sitting in my boat drowning worms, drinking beer and dozing. I'd been catching and tossing back Carp and Bluegills. That was until the jetskiers showed up and thought it would be funny to 'rock my boat'. Joke was on them, my kids had a water balloon sling that took giant fish like it was made for them. Boy were they surprised! I laughed my ass off when I knocked one off his jetski. They left and I continued catching fish and releasing them because I had tried cleaning a Bluegill once and that was enough. It was very small so I just crossed them off the fish I will eat list. I'll have to remember this, thanks.
You can scale, head & gut a small to medium bluegill & fry them whole. The fins are like chips & the meat is great!
I'm sorry but god made them to drop jetskiers! Eating them would violate some natural law. I still miss that slingshot. I will never forget that guys face when the giant goldfish impacted him.
Ahh you mean the bluegills, not worth the effort at the size I caught. My dad said the same thing and I was like, "THE BONES!" he just laughed. Definitely not a fan of crunchy meat. I was traumatized by canned sockeye salmon patty vertebrae, yak.

you know I actually tried this to find out myself. Yeah they are crunchy...but still fins
. The meat was much easier to eat however, just slide it down off the bones vs trying to filet the tiny suckers.

OK, my humidity issues are resolved and it's gonna be the battle of LED vs HPS. Similar wattages, 650 vs. 600.
dehumidifier sucking from outside the tent, and all waste water carried away by condensate pump, which will also help keep the pump clean from nutes.
Boy is that fan dirty. Auto watering is a thing of beauty though!!
The LED light looks so much more natural. The HPS is a Hortilux 600...I'll bump it to 1000 in 2 weeks to make things fair. I forgot to drop these lights back down!! and I can take the glass cover off the HPS for more bang.

I keep eyeing that condensate pump. Beautiful set up and perfect temp.
