What should I do next??

So I currently have two tents in a basement which has good air supply and isn't damp at all and I vent outside.

My flower tent is a 4x4 tent with a 4 inch fan / filter connected to a cool hood housing a 600w hps. My temps this time of year are only 24c at 14 inches off the canopy. I have a centrifugal fan on this one which is rated at 64l/sec

Then my veg tent is 1mx1m with a 400w MH. I'm running a 150mm inline fan rated at 120l/sec with a 150mm filter and my temps are fine.

What should I do next? Up the flowering hps to 1000w and use the 150mm inline fan / filter or would the centrifugal fan be better even though it's smaller. Both only have to travel less than 2m before they exit the tents.

I think a 1k is much for a tent, maybe some 250w cfls to accent your yellow spectrum with blues, But if your dead set on the 1k Id upgrade the fan.

Hey Kiwi, I would use a 1000w in a 4x4 as long as I was able to cool things down in there...if it gets too hot just revert back to 600w or get bigger fans. Good luck.

My advice would be to stick with what u have for now. A 600 watt is perfect for a 4x4. A 600 watt cover a primary growing area of 6x6. Putting in a 1000 watt is not necessary and would cost $20 more towards your utility bill. If anything upgrade to a 6 inch if needed. Besides that your good to go. Remember to always think about cost when it comes to your grow. The more money in your pocket the better.

P.S. I'm doing a 'rotation' grow myself. I'll be using my vegetation room as a flowering room interchangeably. Once its time to harvest, I'll use one tent to dry for 2 weeks, while the smaller tent is in vegetation for the same 2 weeks.
