i was thinking about buying some seeds from the net but i wanted to try to germinate some shitty seeds just to make sure i dont mess up the ones im going to buy and its been 3 days and the root showed and i got 2 paper towel got them wet and put the seeds on it then got another paper towel wet and covered the seeds then put it on a plate and covered it with a bowl and turned my heater to around 85. i was thinking about growing them outdoor and it is around 50-60 degree where i am. would that kill them? i was going to put them in my attic but i dont want my house to smell. i got a plastic cup and filled it with soil and im not sure what to do? i also have $200 to spend on seeds and was thinking about getting white widow and ice but not sure where i can get the best seeds for them? or what seeds i should get for beginner and still get alot of bud and keep the plant under 2 feet tall? its my 2nd time growing.also im confused on how vegetive and flower work? i thought if they grow outside they will go in to flowering by themselves?or should i get them from the net which they should be female and just grow 2 plants indoor and keep the setup small and put it outdoors around jan or feb?thank

You would be best served using that 200 dollars on growing supplies. Then use the bag seeds you have to learn how to grow.

If you do it right, it can turn out even better then the bagweed.

If you're in the US there isn't enough light in the day to grow a decent plant unless you bring it in under a grow light after the sun goes down.

Yeah if you are in the US the outside growing season is about done, you should spend that money on some good indoor growing supplies and if your worried about smell just get a carbon filter, they are cheap. If you grow bagseed with good equipment it will turn out so much better than WW or ice grown in shitty conditions.

so buy it and start it at 24/7 light? if so how long 24/7? then change to what? the seed hasnt popped up yet so how far should i keep the light from it? and when it pops up how close should the light be without burning it?its my first time and im just wanting to keep it small and flower it. im wanting to keep in under 1 feet so how long should i keep it on and off?

If you're only going to grow a one footer, do 18/6 until the plant is about 6-7 inches, then switch to 12/12. Keep the light a few feet away for the first couple of weeks, then lower it little by little. You ultimately want it as close to the plant as possible without buring it. Place your hand near the top of your plant and hold it there for a little while. If it doesn't feel too hot for your skin, the plant should be fine. If you're going to get the 400W light you should grow at least a few plants. It's kind of a waste of electricity to use it for only one plant, which would probably do just fine under 150W.

By the way, you should give the GrowFAQ a thorough read.
