what was your worst yield???

Hey everyone. I'm trying to be realistic about my first grow. I think my 5 plants are doing okay, but I was just wondering what other people roughly yielded their first grow. Was it more or less than you expected? They are getting about 4 hours of direct sunlight outdoors, and they are currently about a foot tall. I haven't been able to determine the sex of them yet.

Opinions and stories would be great

i don't know what we're talking about here but i'll tell you about my worst yield.
Two months ago i harvested a plant grown well, did everything right, down to the feeding, temps and lighting. I vegged for 2 and half months... final yield off plant... almost 2 oz or 48 grams. The reason being...... Shitty genetics and a shitty pheno.
Wish i had pics of it, but the plant was about 2 ft wide and 3 feet tall. what a fucking disappointment. The strain was Medical Seeds Co.- Hammerhead (Medicine man x White Rhino)
just a shitty yield story for ya..... thanks for asking

My first indoor was 73 grams out of six plants. It just keeps getting bigger.

My worst harvest was a monster Blue Cheese I grew in my greenhouse I built last year.
Thing was a tree man. I got 2.7 pounds off her. Bummer was I waited very late in the year to harvest and it didn't dry properly and ended up shit. Didnt even like the hash I made out of the buds. Total loss.

my first indoor i got 5 ounces off 2 4 1/2-5ft bluedreams. i blame the small 3gal pots and the fact i flooded them all through flowering like a dummy

can u get specific on what you used to make your greenhouse? just the shell, not the plumbing or electrical, though thats awesome as well.

my first grow was 2 autos and around the 5th week I thought that my skills were so good that the plant was done in 5 weeks.:clap:idiot

I would be content with 73 grams. I don't know how may females I have yet, though. I've been bringing them inside in darkness for 12 hours in order to try and get them to flower and show sex. This is bag seed. My impatience is getting to me. I'm hoping for a mid-September harvest.

What is on the lower spectrum potential yield of a healthy two foot plant? I'm trying to speculate. I'm sure that asking yield estimates is common among noobs, but please forgive me. I am excited, it's my first grow.

I'd say about an oz per plant.
Last winter I grew 12 in my greenhouse about that size, six in hydro and six in soil and got 14 zips.

got like 5 oz off a plant in a 7 gallon pot, poor genetics and poor care (nute lock), it was mid grade, beat any mexican shit period, but not even low grade dank, or bc's. not a total loss, good learning experience, but not good quality wise. Off that and two other plants I got about a half p dried

Yo its all about light/space and airflow/temps and common knowledge.
My worst yeild was in an outbuilding. Of course the timer failed half way threw the cycle. It didnt turn the lights off for 4 nights in week three. We got a halfpound a light and there was 5 of them.
The best yeilds ive gotten were my last grow. I ditched advanced and went with a cheaper line. Got 5 pounds off four lights with A qaulity. Ive been growing for two years. But had my far share of fuck ups. I learnt from mistakes. I knew basics but nothing like what i know now. Its all about having the right equitment to get the job done. I think air conditioning is the biggest factor towards high yeilds. Because you can have co2. You need overkill on The a.c tho

Hes asking about yield off a two foot plant. I find it hard to believe you got 5 oz's off a two foot plant, let alone 1/2 pound. Maybe you missed that part.

Here's a shot of my last grow I harvested this spring. G-13 on the right and Silver jack on the left. They are all in 3 gal. smart pots. Got a little over an oz per plant.

I vegged them up to a little under 2 foot tall then flipped.
They are in a small green house, Winter grow with a 600w on a rail for supplemental lighting.

thanks cruzer101. those look WAY better than mine btw. I think I might be lucky to get a half oz off each now. better try next time I guess? im still expecting half of those to be female. there are four on the right. 2 of which look male to me, but ill give it one more day just to be sure.
