Rob.... don't say it if you've never eaten it.... I eat everything...and I would eat it if I HAD to. But I would try and avoid it unless I was on a deserted island and only mutton was available... bleh.

Its 3pm EST over here. Ive been awake since noon tweeking my grow setup & have actually made some great improvements. (Was tryin to grow indoors using ONLY sunlight)

So to celebrate I had a big bowl of Cap'n Crunch with Crunch Berries!

My Mum made me some dolma for dinner tonight, I had about 25-30 pieces. She never fails to stimulate my taste buds, :D. I love being Turkish, guaranteed quality food every night hehe.

LOL, believe me you won't say that if you tried some. Its is rice and minced meat with its special dressing wrapped in grape leaves and boiled. My neighbor thought it looked like dog food but after she had some she came knocking on our door for more.

i always love the look and principal of dolmades, but when they have the mint in there with the rice, nah, but jesus christ man, 25-30, you're a maniac!

edit: ya'll replied. that's not what i'm talking about then, that sounds rather yummy. dolmades are rice, mint and some more herbs wrapped in vine leaves.

And that was with 2 slices of pita bread. I have a rather animalistic appetite, :D.

I think my mum puts mint in it as well, she uses a lot of different varieties of herbs and all. The dressing is a matter of personal preference.

I love that kind of food myself. Marinated Grape leaves taste fantastic to me.

On my first trip to morocco we were served the local tea..... very sweet and very minty.... I'm not huge on sugar, but the mint made the whole thing work. We hung back after the rush of the crowd died down...kind of why we go on trips... to relax.

Then we watched with jaws dropped while they simply dunked all the dirty glasses in a tub of water and put them back into circulation. No soap of any kind.

We were comforted by the fact that they did this for the natives as well... as opposed to sticking it to the tourists... a small comfort... we laughed about it.
