FC8000/FC-E8000 is born for commercial cultivation such as vertical farms or all other indoor horticulture with supplemental CO2 applications. These two LED grow lights supply uniform PPFD averaging 1500μmol/m²/s, sufficient to activate photosynthesis and obtain maximum yield at different CO2 concentrations.

FC8000 and FC-E8000 are both designed with dimmable daisy chains and detachable bars. FC8000 has two chip choices - Samsung LM301B and LM301H. Top-notch components!

For an idea of how the FC 6500 fits in a 4x4 check out this thread showing the unboxing, installation and some par readings for the light. FC 8000 unboxing will be posted soon so you can all sit it installed in a 5x5.

Hm another 2 bars would be nice :eyesmoke:
Haven't got mine in the tent yet. Still finishing up a run in progress but things are on track for the next one. I'm really excited to get that thing in there and see what it can do. Maybe I'll end up getting the FC 8000 too and do the 5x10 for a monster crop next winter. Ooooo options.

Like a 3000 and a 6500 mix for 9500 was my thinking . Lol

What kind of hanging distance are we talking about with the fc8000 @Doug Dawson ? I know what the manual says but do you find that to be a little close? Never ran the 'bar style' fixture before.

I just hooked up this 8000 but did the same with he 6500, I mounted them as high in the tent as I could. I found without CO2 they are more than power enough so I mount high and use the dimmer with my PAR meter to set them. Plants only care about intensity and I find it easier to do it this way. Much easier to dial in with the dimmer than adjusting the height.

Hey all. Digging this conversation. I'm stuck deciding between fce6500 and fce8000 for my 5x5, have a 3x3 in same room with tsw2000 so no bar light experience. Should I go with the 8000 even without co2 in this case, or the 6500? Thanks.

I would go out on a limb and assume using the ppfd maps and think that one would get more dense bud further into the canopy with 8000 over the 6500 especially if it’s thick.
