Hold my seat on the charter to Costa Rica too.
I actually looked into moving there a few years ago when the writing was on the wall for online poker (the Patriot Act and then this!). You can live there as a non citizen as long as you can prove an income of around 1500 a month (can't remember the exact but it was in this range) and you couldn't stay for more than 90 days in a row. You have to take a 3 day vacation every three months and need about an average SSI check, seems fair to me.
fwiw there might be more criteria but I talked myself out of going so I stopped looking into it. Beautiful country, it has everything.
