When to add my 150w hps?

Just got a sprout to pop, my buddy from socal (mmj card holder) Sent an oz to my friend and it was some Jack herrer private reserve.. Pretty cracked out, well the last bud we cracked open popped out a couple seeds, one decent looking, and one that looked perfect, well the one that loooked great popped up after a few days and is about an inch to an inch and a half tall, with a 26 watt 6500k cfl about 5 or 6 inches above it. It's in soil that I had used for a grow before, very well flushed, basically nute-less soil. I have a 150wat hps that I would like to give a new home to. How long should I keep the cfl on the plant for? Or is it ok now to just toss the 150 up? Any help +rep, not tryin to burn One of my babies lol

throw it in man and keep the cfl there too the more the better just make sure you dont put the hps to close cause it gives off more heat than the cfl.

A seedling is pretty fragile though so I would wait a bit, Jack is a sensitive, tedious strain that freaks out over minor changes also. i would wait a little longer just to be safe and expect your Jack to at least double in height when you go 12/12. A single plant vegged for a few weeks using LST would be great.
