u dont use nutrients like that.. you use them to keep ur plant happy.. to do that u have to understand ur plants needs, what nutrients they need, and when they need specific nutrients.. and i really hate it that so many ppl use jacks classic.. they are chemical nutes, full of salts and way to concentrated.. and molasses shouldnt be used till the end of the grow.. you really should try to explain better, because to me u sound like ur going to mess those plants up.. no offense.

ummm, what kind of light is it? Do you have a humidity dome? It's good to have your clones under a humidity dome for the first few days...Flowering clones take a little longer to root, and sometimes may never root, because they have to revert back to the vegetative stage before they can make any real progress...GL! and we all love this site! There's no reason not to!(Except for the obscene amount of assholes at times! lol)

Like JN811 said, I would prefer to use molasses only towards the end, but everyone has there own opinion...ummmm, not too many tips, just provide optimum lighting, keep her watered, and let nature take it's course!

Molasses helps the soil. It feeds the stuff in the dirt. Plants don't absorb sugar. For tips don't get it too close to the light and watch it's temps and humidity. Good Luck

I really need to add.. alot of you seem like you are doing WAY too much.. the idea is to treat the plant as if it was growing in nature.. the #1 thing i see new growers doing wrong is "overdoing" things.. sorry if i was a bit of a dick, but since I've beem on RIU, almost a year now.. I always see the same things.. The BEST way to treat ur plants is as nature would in the optimum enviorment, which means... Ideal light, temps, good soil with proper amounts of nutrients or p.h. balanced water (hydro).. When using nutrients you have to treat the plant like it were outside too, which means understanding how nutrients get added to soil and how soil works best.. ex. animal shit for nitrogen, earthworm castings for good soil compisition, ect .. really once you understand a plants natural growing pattern and how to make ur plants happy.. you will never have to ask a question here again.. I highly recommend Discovery Channels: Life- Plants.. Really, really good.. but every plant, regardless of the type need the same things.. they just have diffrent means of obtaining them..

Sorry guys, I use to help out on this thread alot.. but ive been really busy lately.. Im actually creating a website called theclosetgrow.com which should be available in the next few weeks. Ive spent alot of time on it.. and I really think it will help out alot of growers.. I have pics and insight into the entire growing process.. If interested send me a P.M. and ill let you know when its active..

Edit: Btw alot of RIU members are helping me by writing articles, making videos, or sending me information they think will help.. Special thanks to Riddleme (coauthor of this thread and expert grower with TONS of knowledge) Fuzzybuds (pro grower with tons of knowledge and BEAUTIFUL plants) and Fditty ( amazing grower with huge harvest and breeder of the AMAZING convict kush...) if anyone would like to contribute to the site.. and have knowledge theyd like to share.. please shoot me a p.m. Im looking for various topics.. :weed:

I hear what you're sayin' man, I usually just let the plants do their thing, and give them what they need, when they look like they need it...
Sounds like an interesting site, I'll most definitely check it out, at the least!

Hey guys. What harm will it do , if any , to start my plants vegging under HPS instead of MH?? I was just setting up and my MH bulb is flickering . I can't really get to the grow shop to replace my bulb untill next week. It probable don't matter, but since I started growing, I've always used MH veg. and HPS for flowering only. Thanks for any info.

HPS works just fine for vegging, you'll get a little stretch due to the abundance of "red" in the spectrum, but it will still give you descent veg results...
