I've looked around, and haven't found an answer.

I've been flowering for 4.5 weeks, and the smell is more than my wife wants in the house. My plant is in a grow box, with multiple CFL's. I want to move the box onto our deck. The deck is covered with shade cloth, so direct sunlight will be minimal. I know I'll have to change my light on/off schedule, but other than that, does anyone see any reason not to make the move?

Thanks

Thanks JN811. I figured it would add a week or two to flowering. I've been maintaining 80*F in my box, inside. It's been averaging in the mid 90's during the day at my house. Will that have a huge effect, or just add to the already expected additional time?

In regards to Legalizeitcanada's question, can you start a clone using just a glass of water and a cutting? I know using the 'approved' method is best, but will just water work? Sorry if I highjacked, not my intent.

We are super-newbies at this:?. My hubby had collected a dozen seeds or so and we planted them in a long pot outside using a good quality soil and compost. 6 of the seeds took but after about 5 weeks the plants are still very small (between 3-5 inches tall). Should they be bigger by now? Starting to panic because we live in Canada and only have another 6 weeks of truely hot weather. Indoors is not an option for us. I am going to transfer them to a larger pot and didn't know if I should do anything special with the soil we will be adding. Other than fertilizer do we really need to do anything fancy like cloning or pollinating because that is way over heads being our first try. Any advice is appreciated - thanks.

hi im a newbie here never grown weed before but wanna try soon. Im using a stealth box 20 X 20 inches square X 4 ft tall. I heard I need to use 5 gallon pots for good root growth. but then I can only grow 1 plant at a time. Can I use smaller pots and grow 2-3 plants possibly? I will be using clones from my local dispensary. will the plants become root bound before full growth cycle if the pots are too small .I also want to use 2 computer fans 1 for intake and 1 for exhaust. I have 2 cfl bulbs 26 watt equivalent to 100 watt 2650 K spectrum.will this help me to get started in vegative stage, meanwhile I can buy more cfl bulbs in the flowering spectrum 6500 K and switch out the bulbs to flowering when it is time.how many light bulbs do I need per plant?thanks to anyone who can give a beginner some friendly advice.

I have a galaxy switchable 400/600/1000 - works fine with a hortilux eye 600 - tried a hortilux 400 blue and light came on for a few seconds then went from blue to orange then out. what's going on? I'm going to return the blue bulb but i didn't know if might be a problem with the ballast. any ideas?

Start with this thread https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/316301-calling-all-noob-growers.html and read anything from him he has posted in his signature. Yes there is a problem with your babies. Never plant together in a pot to start with and I don't think there is time to finish them outside. Sorry

Peace

My White Widow ladies are drooping and the leaves are curling down. This started roughly the second week into flowering, its now into the fourth week. I'm on a 12/12 schedule and water 3 - 4 days with 15 ml 15-30-15/ gallon (mix ratio as per container). There are no yellowing leaves. The color is nice deep green. Ph seems on the acid side (soil), but the water I use is around the 7.0 mark. I'm using low quality testing (Soil kit and strips).

I'm thinking I'm over watering. I will pay more attention to the weight of the container. Also will water with no nutrients for one or two waterings. Is there any benefit to adding a teaspoon of H202 to the water.

What do you think my problem might be??....I just discovered the heat at the top of my cabinet is 90+....my thermometer was in the bottom of the cabinet....could it be heat stress??

This is my first grow. I have 4 x 2 x 4 cabinet with about 500w 2700k CFL's

I've only had one grow (she's flowering right now). I used a box very similar to what you are using. I have had my plant in a 1 gallon container, without any issues. She's currently 20" tall, and doing just fine. Before I water, I look at the bottom of the pot, and I have yet to see any roots.

Obviously, the bigger the pot, the bigger the root ball, and ultimately the bigger the plant. I guess what I'm trying to say is, use the biggest pot you can. My buddy used a 1 gallon pot and he pulled 2 - 3oz. from his single plant.

Hope this helps, but I too am a newbie at this.

IMO it looks like a little N2 toxicity. I would run straight water throught her till the new growth showes normal then try and find some bloom nutes for flower with a little less N2 in it. Some Dyna-Bloom or a Jacks Classic Bloom Booster would be good. More balanced mix in my opinion and has all the micro's you need. I don't think I would add the H2O2, Don't see mech benefit

Hope it helped
