Ok lets see if I can help.

You can not cool your box any lower than the ambient temp of your intake supply.

1 - Where will the air, that is going to be SUCKED into your cabinet, come from?
2 - How will you control the ambient temperature of the air being brought into your cab?
Naw the only way i can cool my box is with the fans in that room past that i dont have ac or anything like that...temps were high in my last grow but i dont think it hurt my crop besiddes some leaf edges turned up and maybe it taking a lil longer to finish...ive seen the 150 watt and 200 watt cfl have fans inside dont know if that helps any for the heat of the bulb. trying to build this cab this week and order bulbs so i can have them next week.well just flower bulbs i have enough veg at least for autos...

I hope I'm doing this right and not hijacking! If I am, please show me the light.

I have 4 blue cheese girls 2 weeks into flowering. This strain is super sensitive to nutrient burn, so we're really careful about how much they're fed. Anyway, this is the 3rd grow of the strain and some leaves are curling up, getting papery then falling off-pix attached. I haven't seen this before on such young plants.

The flower room is the same as always: 2-600 W HPS w Adjust-a-Wing reflectors, Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil, Botanicare nutrients, temps between 70-82, humidity ~38-56, usually around 45%. Plants are about 16" from the lights.

Anyone have any ideas? They're getting very spindly with so many leaves falling off. Flowers are beginning to develop and new growth looks good--until it becomes old growth and dries up! Thanks a bunch!

Oh, we tried a foliar feed a few days ago with Pure Bloom (a 0-30-20 fert) because it looked like there was a phosphorous deficiency. If anything, the problem got a little worse.

Hi people i need to know something i have 2 strains that i dont know and their buds start to become redish brown color but they are absolutely not smelling :S is it mean they will be bad to smoke ? im very curious about it please answer this ..!.

Has anyone ever tried using a 1 Pint dehumidifier in a closet grow? I have major humidity problems, but heat is an issue also. I'm new to dehumidifiers.
Can someone advise? My growspace is a bathroom closet with appx 6 square feet. R/H hangs at 55-70%. needless to say I lost my last lady to spiderweb mold and bud rot late in flowering. My temp hangs around just over 80f. I'm considering a amcor md250 1 pint peltier dehmidifier. I'm just wondering if anyone has any recommedations on how to deal with this?

Definately need to get the R/H down, especialy in flower. I am in the midwest so the only problem I have with R/H is there is not enough of it. I am not sure if the 1 pint unit will be able to keep up with that high of humidity or not. Seems a little small to me but you won't know till you try it. Ya might try the second hand stores to see if they may have a bigger one that don't cost to much. IDK. Hope it helped.

Peace

im currently on day 4 of my autoflower short rider seedlings, they are under a 400w hps in a small closet so it gets pretty hot, usually around 82-86 degrees F but when i open the door to the closet and to my room i can get it to like a min of 76 degrees. I am wondering since it is often hot, the soil dries up fast, so should I water more often and how much? they are in 3gal pots as I heard it was bad to transplant autoflowering strains. I just watered with about 150mL yesterday and today I stuck my finger a few inches into the soil and it seems dry for the most part. I'm afraid of overwatering but I feel like I should is this a mistake, and should I just e watering with more water?

I know ppl say seedlings shouldnt be under hps but I dont have enough cfl power right now to support all of them becuz theyre in 3gal pots.

Do you know what your plants look like when they really need water?

You can out your seedlings under HPS, just make sure you back the light off to like 24 - 30 " once they get used to it bring the lights down to normal level 12 - 18'

Sorry for asking this here and in another thread...but it seems the original question got overlooked by the "drooping leafs"...and this seems to be the thread to get help:

I tossed a bag seed in soil and threw it in a pc grow case 30 days ago. It sprouted and took off like crazy...staying low and compact but getting bushy. I had to change out pots 3 times to keep up with its growth. I'm in the midst of converting a dresser into a grow box, so for now the bag seed is in a small closet area with two low ryders.

Question...does the bag seed plant look to be an AF strain? I've had it under 20/4 the entire time. My current setup is 10x 6500k daylight spectrum cfls w/ 5x 2700k being added in 4 days ago. Temp runs between 75-80 degrees with 45% humidity. Any clues? I'm just wondering if it looks like an AF or should I move it out from the LRs and throw it into 12/12.

Thanks for any help, tips, comments, constructive criticisms.

ummm not really ive only grown once and it was a super ghetto grow, what do they look like?

and okay but at the moment I have the lights like 3-4 feet above the plants should I try to lower it or raise the plants? I was just scared because I heard the heat could be bad for the baby seedlings so I thought farther away would be bettr. They seem to be doing fine I just want everything to go as good as possible
