Why do people use Autoflowers after their 1st grow?

Can someone explain to me NICELY , why people beyond their 1st grow, which I'm assuming was package of Autoflowers, ever buy them again?

As anyone reading this knows, any worthwhile results, take some effort.

You can't change a timer from 18 to 12?
-Plant count. In Canada we can only grow 4. So we don't need to worry about cloning and vegging plants messing up our plant count.
-Growing in a colder basement in Canada keeping the lights on 24/7 helps keep the plants nice and cozy.
-Easier to grow a variety of strains at any given time.
-Great for shorter outdoor grow seasons.
-Shorter turn around
-less space required with no addition of veg/clone area.

Because they sound easier. They’re cool but I prefer photos. You have so much more control. I put a couple autos in my veg tent that just took the whole damn thing over, had to switch to hps in it and buy another veg tent setup. Forgive the yellow leaves, I’d been neglecting them a bit but they’re recovering nicely with the bloom teas3DF59BCD-1215-49C1-A547-018570CB73F3.jpeg8A81AFFC-5704-40E7-8B7A-0A71EF0F2528.jpegC0FC1673-4364-483E-A563-6FC3571D9C5B.jpeg

That's the best reason I've seen posted on the forum.

I just can't get past the hustle of it. Outside of personal use and living where autos make sense, I'd feel like a mark if I had to buy seeds each and every time. But I'll drive miles out of the way to avoid a toll -- I hate fees (even if they're arguably beneficial).

I got bunch of photo fems going rn, I’m looking forward to not having to cull a bunch of males come flower. Shits been playing with my money frfr, not keeping moms this run though since I’m renovating the grow room once everything I’ve got going now is harvested.

Keeping the lights on for warmth is a great reason. I need to run a 2kw space heater in the winter during night cycles. That’s over 3 times more expensive to run compared towhat my DE CMH needs. With my LED I’d need about 4kw of heating lol

It was a big reason I didn’t do a photo run this year. Might do one after these autos finish up as I don’t have to spend so much heating the buggers during the night cycle.
