What the hell? Is tap water in America normally really hard or something? Ive read so many people using RO water and bottled water from USA. Why wouldnt you be able to germinate seeds with tap water???? I'm really curious about this.

We normally have chlorine and other additives in our water supply.. and some water tastes down right terrible out of the faucet, especially in West Texas.

WITH A LITTLE RESEARCH COMES A LITTLE IDEA (sly smile). Im raising my PH to 6.0 and going to see if this fixes it.

Following said research is from http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688

Magnesium gets locked out of Hydro and Soil less Mediums at ph levels of 2.0-5.7

^^ My PH wasnt high enough for the cal-mag to be absorbed. 6.0-ish PH incoming!

1.4 ec, 5.75-6.0 ph and they drink more than a gallon a day. Mag/cal def still visible. Questionable if the solution has taken full effect yet. So we wait!
