Try to get that PH up a little bit. Nothing worse than a low PH.. your roots won't take up nutes correctly.

False the 5.5-6.0 range is a guideline. Nutrients can be absorbed just as easily at 5.2 ph. Its been proven in some pdf science break thing i read. So there :p. (stoned)

And if thats correct VO is right. At 5.2 phosphorous and magnesium arent being taken up by roots according to this. ^ It seems if you make it 5.5 and then let it raise itself over a week would be good. Then when it gets above say 6.2 drop it back down to 5.5.

Do you remember the dates on that? I've read other documents saying that anything below 5.5 certain nutrients will have difficulty being absorbed by the plant because the water is too acidic and doesn't break down the chemicals correctly.

It's not actually the plant that gets affected, but your N-P-K ratios.

You shouldnt go any lower that 5.5 and dont adjust till it hits 6.0 this elimitates phing all the time and
Allows the plant to feed on defferent stuff through out the ph swing, any lower than 5.5 will starve
Your plants of need food and worse cause a lock up!

=) I cant get an exact reading on my PH. So for now it stands at the 5.5-ish range. Says the untrusted PH sticks....

Alright so its time for updates.

Currently I still have yellow/browning leaves however it hasnt even been 3/4 days in the new res change so Ill give it a chance. But it still bothers me. The newer looking leaves are changing color from bright green to the normal darker green much faster. =( Idk if its relevant but I miss having a bright green closet. One plant is significantly taller than the rest, I have a weird feeling it'll turn out to be a male. I also have red-ish tinted stems... does this indicate anything? Poor nutrition, incorrect PH, etc etc?

I figured out how to post multiple pics at once (SO MUCH EASIER XD)

Which means you guys will get many more pics in the future. Great for bud porn season :joint:

Figured it out nevermind dont need a repost. U think a low PH could cause my plants to have a lil def in everything? I hope they're on the rebound. I dont wanna cutt off to many fan leaves at once, figure one leave every 2-3 days?

I just remember reading that if you over trim that it'll cause hermie/stress. So I should trim all the def leaves and just wait to see if it happens again?

OHHH and Jimmy, I got that pic of the PH sticks in there for ya. Dip in solution for 15 secs ( I leave em in the water for 15, then let air dry for 15) and match with the colors on the back.
