A althor Well-Known Member Jun 2, 2013 #4 Are you sure you arent talking about topping? No, don't trim the white hairs (pistils). You can cut tops of the plants off (best done in veg but can be done in the first weeks of flowering) and it does increase the thickness and bushiness of the plant.
