Man I couldn't drink tea, the taste of cannabutter makes me gag pretty instantly :c
I once had that problem, then I learned the secret to making good edibles: start with kief or oil. Also add something like lecithin as it helps get everything mixed together better.
Even made with decarbed material edibles don't really get me high but my god are they good for pain.

Once it's baked I don't mind the taste, but straight up.. I learned the hard way when I licked my finger after cleaning out the measuring cup D:

Very interesting lamopa.

(I had found heat to cause up-curling...so far ;0)

Let us know how the changes work.

Good luck,

In this case they were almost trying to get away from the heat, hence why they curled downward. I'll see how the new set-up goes, I check on it every now and again to make sure everything is OK. So far so good, the heat is not nearly as bad down near the plants, especially with the new oscillating fan. I also moved my stationary clip-on fan up a bit to blow it across the bottom of the HPS.

I'll check back in mid-week and let everyone know how things are progressing. The curling leaves have set me back a bit, I was hoping to FIM this weekend but I want to get them healthy and looking good before I do it. bongsmilie

I've got a little Bubblicious mother going from Nirvans and it has been edge-curling upward severely since sprouting. I have to tell you, there is nothing different in my setup than any other plant. A 26w CFL appears almost to much for it, in either light intensity or heat..still growing like a weed though. ...I must have a pheno who's genetics are off in some way and I 'm not sure if I want it as a mother anymore. I'll wait till the root system develops and see if it behaves then. Getting water to the leaves would cure their need to curl and conserve moisture.

jella I grew a strange pheno of Purple Voodoo a couple of times and it hated the light. It wouldn't grow to within 3' of the light, if I shimmed it's bucket up to get it near the other plants canopy it would turn it's branches and grow downwards. A retard of a plant, but it was really good smoke.

Here's a photo of the little branch experiment, all trimmed up next to the plant it came off of that has at least 2 more wks to go. (close to 3wks when I cut the branch off).

If I get the nerve..... I'm going to cut a spear off one of the big girls. I'm wondering if a person could take a wk or more???? of grow time out using the living light cycle after chop.

Got more bud shots in new update.

Keep truckin' Watts, you might have discovered and pioneered a technique that changes the average growers beliefs about flushing/chopping/drying & curing. That's one of the most discussed elements of the grow here on RIU. It's actually a huge rat-hole that needs clearing of the rats, if you know what I mean.

I just made the wife a cup of "high coco" as she now calls it. I just boiled the weed, water and butter then poured it into a cup then added hot coco. I even added the marshmallows. It tastes exactly like french vanilla cappuccino. Cant wait to watch the show.

Well there is something different here. With a normal chop, trim, hang, in cool dark space, you don't see continued life or maturing. I'll be checking the trichs to see if they build and mature also. Then compare the smoke 6wks down the road.

But think about it, if you could chop an 8wk strain at 6.5wk. You could get another crop going in the tent earlier, dropping the light, then hang the harvest above the light with a couple of cfl's on cycle. It would take care of the stench of drying using the tent carbon filter, not needing a separate space. It could change the game. But first I have to put an ounce + at risk and give it a try.

I've tried many different cure schemes, but at least this off the track idea is mine.

Actually I wanted to step up my cure game, and bought, some new jars, 1/2 gal wide mouths, not much larger diameter than a qt but much taller, (thinking about spears), several hydrometers, and some Boveda 62% humidity control packs.

By pulling early, even with the continued light to mature, wouldn't you lose out on a lot of end weight? Even with another crop will that make up for missing a big part of the bulking cycle? I guess you'd have to run both ways to compare results. Interesting concept for sure. Excited to follow along on your experimentations.

the yield would be nothing compared to a regular grow, the veg time gives it time to grow and produce more bud sites, along with training etc, you couldnt compare

So, I'm gonna try flowering a few plants in Super Soil. Do you guys think it'd hurt to veg in hempy then transplant into the SS? Ive never seriously done soil before. Dont wanna completely drop the hempy, just playing around with the soil.

I bet that any rootball, transplanted with minimal stress, would
rock in supersoil without any more delay. I would not rinse the
ball out though. ...or are you? That would stress them, but not
too badly I suppose.

Anyhoo. Good luck!

I don't think it would hurt, but you might need a lot of soil to last all of flower. (2gal hempy -> 7gal smartie)

P.S. Not hempy but posting anyway, PK at 21 days.

I thought it'd be ok too. I have 5 gal smart pots I'm gonna flower in but I plan on getting some 7 gal as well. I put some cuttings in the cloner last night. We got SnowLAnd, God Bud, Black Russian, Darkstar and Lemon Kush. Gonna be a good run!
