Wtf is This?

sure looks like light burn
When you water, try to keep your splash off them
If you do get some on them, just shake off the water
Mag def would show on all the leaf tips, including the serations on the leaf blade
They would curl upward. Thus the name "praying for magnesium"
Could also be the start of pythium, just keep up the beneficial bacteria

The leaf has pretty good color otherwise, your ph is probably ok. How wide spread is this?

I feel a bit offended that you feel you can dis-credit me right of the bat
I've been gardening my whole life
I think it may be logical to not listen to you

It may not be pythium
It may be something else.
But it's defenatly not mag def
To be honest, if it's on your lower leaves, under the canopy
Then I probably wouldn't worry about it

its definitely not mg def, i second the light burn theory. the irregularity and lack of symmetry lead me to believe its not nutrient related.....
do you foliar spray with anything??
sometimes my clones get similar bleach spots when i spray w/nutes or b-1

Cool. Found a prob identical to mine. Hope we can find an answer.

I'm in FFOF currently running the FF trio. Had this problem last crop, interestingly enough, after switching to FFOF from Kellogg's. i grew in MG Organic my first grow and have never seen better looking plants for the most part of the grow(harvested about 1.7oz/plant dried under cfl, now under 600w hps). The flush, or lack of being able to, was the reason i stopped the MG soil. Switched to Kellogg's for the next two and went with just Grow Big and Tiger Bloom with disappointing results. The 4th one i switched and developed this symptom but was able to harvest although dismal due to environment issues in a new room/house OR something i did/didn't do. No way to tell. NOW i have control of the room and have been vegging once beautiful Kryptonite clones for about 4 weeks now and THEY have developed this symptom. SOOoo, i am intrigued and a little baffled but then again, i'm also pretty new to the show.

Sub'd.

Agreed, I see no reason to say it's Mg-def. (Ignore the red-font-shouting-guy).

Sorry I have no idea what your problem is, never had a leaf look like that.

On my ladies, the spots corresponded with my new 600w light, but all my spots are from midway down. i'd think it'd be more prevalent the closer i get to the light and also have the problem to a lesser degree on my outdoor plants which coincidentally are in a 50/50 mix of native soil and FFOF with added perlite.

That is the beginning of a mag def, NOT LIGHT BURN ISSUES.. No one is discrediting anyone but that is mag issues..PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!! I am thinking that your "native soil" is acidic which is dropping your ph which in turn is beginning to lockout magnesium
