WW clones, Jock horrors, and blueberry, oh my!

ok there the 2 400w mh you have going in the photos....1000w watt should really get them rocking and rolling in flower..looking forward to seeing what they yield:weed:

am using a 600 myself so hoping to go 4 to 6 in vedge then the flip...:leaf::leaf::leaf:

Yeah, I'm excited to see it as well! Never used something that powerful, and I've heard nothing but amazing things. For my purposes though, the 400w do just fine for veg. Hopefully I can hit a perpetual garden groove and just keep these things rolling out

600w should do you great though Eugene!

Another update (without pics for now, I currently have company and didn't have my camera with me earlier)!

The girls are getting huge, and I can't wait for my 1000w to come in, so I changed bulbs to hps and started flower.

After treating my poor WW clone, new beautiful white roots started showing, and the new growth is looking great!

The clones are starting to look good as well. I've started giving them a reduced nutrient schedule, so far no burning. As they grow up and can handle more nutes, I'll move towards a full feeding schedule.

I'm disappointed that I won't be using a 1000w for this, but I still have to figure out a system to vent the heat ... So I guess I'm not that upset. This just gives me more time to perfect the vents and get a proper air transfer system in place for the clones currently growing

Found some time around lights out to get some pics for everyone (if anyone is watching that is :p)

You can really see the damage done to the one WW clone in a few of these pics. However, the treatment seemed to have helped, and the spotting and browning of leaves has stopped and the new growth is looking great. The clones are starting to come around as well

Another update for those who care!

The girls are doing great! Bud development is through the roof, especially on the jock horrors. I had taken a clone of my raspberry cough before finding out about the poor genetics and the thing finally started growing at a decent clip ... So I tossed it into the grow room as well. Worst case scenario I'm going to drop the entire plant and run it through an iso wash for wax. The plant genetics isn't worth smoking because of all of the bud leaves, but it's good enough for a qwiso wash!

The clones are finally picking up steam as well, first set of leaves are sprouting but not enough difference for pictures.

This is why I'm not a fan of the raspberry cough .. There are just too many bud leaves for me as a solo grower to deal with. The taste is lackluster at best, and the high wasn't what I was hoping for either - and the sob went hermie on me (found a few seeds developing after I harvested ..that goodness it was just a few). I included a few pics to show what I'm taking about. But it'll do just fine for a quick iso washbongsmilie

Nice to hear that your plants are loving the dwc! My clones are up to half strength feeding right now, how are your babies reacting to your feeding schedule?

not great looking on the bud mate..kinda weird the leaves are larger than normal bud leaves...yea hydro is all early doors but going good to date mate...running on 1/4 strength for 7 days will going to 1/2 strength be a good idea when i change the res...

It's gotta be something with the genetics ... Or maybe just a bad seed haha.

Yeah, I'd up the strength on the res change. As long as you don't get any burn on the next feeding change, you could probably take it up to full strength after that!

Yea put the strength up today with the growth being good so far might only go short in vedge three maybe four weeks then flip that will give me a mid to end Dec finish...post an update Joe check out your plants mate.

It's on backorder unfortunately. Looks like this grow will be on the 400 watters -_-

But the clones I have going will definitely be sitting under that 1000w lamp, even if it means extending my veg period
How long did you vedge the plants you have in flower now?

I have 3 stations, a clone station, a veg, and flower station. The plants spend about 2 or so months in each, so about 3 months of veg (after about a month to produce good roots) and then 2 months in flower

OK so vedge long then...as a rule I vedge for six to eight weeks normally but am keen to get my first dwc over the line also if I vedge short there is less time for things to go wrong lol...

Another little update.

Noticed what looks to be some nute burn on some fan leaves. I'll check the ppm tomorrow, there's a chance I may have just screwed up my feeding schedule -_-

Otherwise, the buds are coming in strong and fast ... Fingers crossed it's just burn and not another root issue ..

Adding some new pics!

I've figured out what my issue was with the curling leaves ... I got new standard 4 7 and 10 pH solutions ... Guess my old ones went bad on me. The pH in my reservoirs were sitting at 7.5 after I recalibrated -_-

I've pulled each res, cleaned them, and added new water/fert solution and correctly pHed everything. All things considered the girls are still looking good.

Note to self and anyone else reading: ALWAYS CHECK YOUR PH CALIBRATION FLUID

hey Joe thx for the heads up on ec am going to be keeping a close eye on it...currently flushing me plants for a few days then re introduce nutrients get em growing again...on the ph side i use the ph testing liquids too many times those meters have been giving me wrong readings so ive been on the liquid tests for about 6 mths now....
your plants are budding up real nice bit of frost on them too good job mate.:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:
