WW clones, Jock horrors, and blueberry, oh my!

hey Joe thx for the heads up on ec am going to be keeping a close eye on it...currently flushing me plants for a few days then re introduce nutrients get em growing again...on the ph side i use the ph testing liquids too many times those meters have been giving me wrong readings so ive been on the liquid tests for about 6 mths now....
your plants are budding up real nice bit of frost on them too good job mate.:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

I used to be a scientist, so I'm more comfortable with my pH/conductivity meter (bought it while I was still at my old job, so I got it with the company discount :) ) and I recalibrate once a day .. I just either let my calibration fluids get contaminated .. Or they went bad on me (they are a little old).

I did double check everything with a simple pool pH testing kit just to make sure my probe didn't die on me though! Lol

Glad to hear you're getting back on track mate! Once you get the dwc down, your results are going to be amazing! It's totally worth the beginner's pain once you get going

New update!

Don't mind the ugly leaves and whatnot in a few pics, that's all from the pH issue I fixed last week.

All of the pictures this time around are from my WW clones ... I think I see the calyxes swelling! The blueberry/mystic is starting to swell as well, but not quite as noticeable.

Seems the jock horrors are a few weeks or so behind, so I'll be able to start staggering plants into a perpetual garden set up

staggering is the way to go mate... i have put in 4 chemdawg/lemon haze hybrids in over the last few days...a harvest every 8 weeks is what were aiming for joe...every 4 week would be the best but dont have the room...how are you staggering your grow?

staggering is the way to do things on the outside grow too using autos early in the season and going on to photoperiods later in the year...:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

As soon as these ww finish, I'll be tossing in 2 more clones, then as the next finish, I'll be adding more. Not super scientific I know, but it should definitely help when it comes to harvest and drying, as I have a limited amount of space for it

same space at a premium at the mo am in a 1 bed house so have a 4 by 4 and small attic space if the tent gets out of hand...and im pretty sure its about too lol...still not a bad problem to have!!!

I have plenty of space to grow, but none of it is really optimal for drying unfortunately haha.

I was thinking of kind of converting a spare room into a dry room ... but there is a lot of crap to clean out before that can happen

Throwing out another update!

The extremely green girl is a raspberry cough, and she's going to qwiso oil (all those leaves tho)

Couple other pics of the blue (berry/mystic? Still not sure, bad packaging) and the jock horrors

I was changing the reservoirs today, and decided to get some better pictures posted. Pretty big picture dump below :)

Everything is looking great, I'm just waiting until November 11th (estimated harvest date .. Obviously not set in stone).

Enjoy!

do you use a reverse osmosis machine...been looking online and they take the ppm/ec down to near 0 joe...are these a good buy for dwc....my ec from the tap is 0.5 which im guessing is pretty high?

It honestly depends on who you ask. Other than chlorine, those minerals are all useful for your plants. Other people swear by RO water. If you do go RO, make sure to add extra magnesium and calcium!

do you use RO if not have you in the past.... noticed people online who do use RO swear by it so probably gonna use it on the inc bulk run from december?
done a res change today am posting a vid and some pics in a bit mate put the ec up too 1.3 which is about half strength on the nutrients at the mo....your not too far from harvest now joe are they looking like your gonna get some decent weight look pretty nice in the pics mate:bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint::bigjoint:

I've honestly never used RO in the past, so I can't really help you there mate. Looking forward to your post!

Hello everyone! Sorry for disappearing, but I had to go pick up a job and just haven't had the time to post.

All five of the plants (ww, jock horrors, and a blueberry) are finished and curing! I averaged about 3 ounces dry per plant, for a grand total of just under 15 ounces. Unfortunately, most has already gone into oil for some local folks dealing with cancer and my mother's pills, but I do have about 6 ounces left to myself to enjoy until the next harvest!

Speaking of, the raspberry cough clone is getting close to finishing up, and is looking much better than the mother did (pics below)! When she finishes, I have one last jock horror clone to throw into flower (for a total of six jock horrors).

Speaking of, as I'm still awaiting the 1000w lamp and my incredible bulk seeds, I'm using this last grow under my current conditions to try some stuff out.

I've been lst training (specifically super cropping) during veg, and to help control the stretch, I'm continuing to do so during the two week period of stretch to really force a great canopy. I have a few pics to illustrate my point below.

I'm also messing around with my nutrient solutions, trying to really dial it in for this strain, since I have 10 more JH seeds laying around and I'm really enjoying the smoke. Perhaps thinking of a bumper crop of JH in between the inc bulk grows since I'm thinking of ScrOG training the bulks to maximize the strains' potential.

That's about all for now, I'm going to try and start a new journal soon for this attempt, so please stay tuned!
