I doubt there will ever be an answer to the question of "who was screaming" that satisfies the "Zimmerman must burn camp", but it stands to reason that the screamer was the guy getting beaten. After all, why would the guy not getting beaten scream for help? The next question to be answered, from the circumstantial evidence, is "who was getting beaten?". From the physical evidence the only rational answer is, Zimmerman, because he is the only one with any injuries. Add to that very reasonable analysis the testimony of the only eye witness (so far) to the actual fight, John Goode, who said, "Zimmerman was on the bottom and Martin was on top, and Martin was punching Zimmerman, and Zimmerman was screaming for help". There really is only one reasonable conclusion: Zimmerman was being beaten and was screaming for help.

The only real question before the jury is this: Did Zimmerman reasonably fear great bodily harm, or death in this scenario? If the answer to that question is yes, then this is a plain vanilla exercise of lawful self defense. The question of murder 2 is preposterous based on the evidence so far.

Having said all of that, I still think it will be a hung jury. This jury is under too much pressure to convict Zimmerman despite the evidence. Those six ladies on the jury still have to live in Seminole county. With Sharpton threatening the sort of civil unrest that he stirred up in Brighton Beach and his Tawana Brawley lies, and with all the other race hustlers getting a piece of the action, I think it is inconceivable that at least one of the jurors won't be intimidated.

Adding to this analysis, look at the commenters here at RIU who refuse to be swayed by the evidence and insist that Zimmerman must be punished. If they are representative of the average jury pool then it wouldn't matter if the jury had a front row seat to the whole incident with instant playback, their answer is going to be "Zimmerman scraped his head on a tree, and he had no right to ask Martin what he was doing in the neighborhood, and he should have taken his beating like a man, and his head was barely scratched, so lock him up!!!"

Of course, the trial is not over yet and the prosecution might have evidence that we have not yet seen that would convince a reasonable person that Zimmerman is a murderer. If that happens, I am willing to change my mind.

That is very common with martial types. We are taught to be the one scream for help. That's the reasonable doubt right there as you point out.

Wait...I think I remember...didn't one of these guy have some martial training? Was it........Trevon? NO.

You are free to comment on the trial if you are watching. Do you disagree that the prosecution are losing badly, at least today?

Since the jury is not even allowed to legally consider the evidence until after instructions, I can assure you trial may be won or lost on a single comment on a single day, but no one is scoring it blow by blow, this way but the media. I have seen the wildest stuff and only watch the murder trials. So Real.

Refute the guy on top as the killer. 1st degree murder unless that can be explained.

The entire story told by Zimm, to the police, that I saw part of on TV, has him saying he is on the bottom.

All his details of feeling like Trevon is aware and going for the gun, and how he had pull it....all that doesn't have the same, meaning at all, if he is on top.

The only witness to the fight in progress testified that Z was on bottom. I don't know what you are blathering about.

No one actually believes Zimmerman was on the top. That is to silly to even address. If you believe that then you also believe OJ is innocent and you are probably afraid to swim

What witness? A witness yesterday, said she saw someone "astride" someone. That person on top got up. I posted link.

WAKE UP. This Jr G. Man on psychiatric drugs. Will that come in?

That was after the fight was over with. The witness you are talking about, Mora, saw Zimmerman get up off of Trayvon and walk around with his hands on his head after he had already shot Martin though the heart.

The witness who actually saw the fight in progress, John Goode, saw Martin on top of Zimmerman and striking him.

I doubt the psychiatric drugs will be admitted, even though they were sleep aids and not psychiatric drugs.

What the fuck do mean? It has no matter at all what you believe. So, fuck off with the insults.

There is a fact in evidence. The top guy lived, the top guy killed.

You are so stupid you must be a Subject and have no idea of how trials work. What evidence is there, that Z was on bottom? Tell me. Tell me! :)

I'm a certified open ocean diver, so, I can, I'm sure blow your door off in a lap of Butterfly anytime.

Aren't you afraid of poopy pants? Yes, I thought that was you.

So, don't be a coward tell me the evidence.

I posted what he was on. Not sleep aids, anti-anxiety. They destroy decision making in stress. I know this. They won't let me exercise my privilege as an airman anymore.

So, I am trial buff, not a press buff, and the outcome is always in doubt with a jury.

Unless the prosecutor really nails the time line....

Unless the Defense can show the legal ground he stood his on exactly...

Oh, because Z took MMA classes for exercise means that he was on top of Martin and beating Martin senseless while simultaneously screaming for help. Got it. Makes a lot of sense in a progressive way. That explains all the injuries Martin sustained.

Uncle Buck, no one wanted to charge Zimmerman. A police chief and a lead investigator both resigned because of a GIAN RACE ISSUE. NO OTHER REASON. 'WE ARE TREYVON MARTIN' you have no basis for your arguments or logic. You are just arguing Z is guilty of 2nd degree murder just cuz.

martin had one single injury on his body. a bullet through the heart... ohh yeaa and that cut knuckle

this is why your 'inside baseball' on this trial is about as valuable as shitgun420's air bud.
Actually, the PA is testifying right now. Prosecutor was trying to get Z's medical history entered into evidence. Defense squashed that. PA only testifying about Z's injuries after the fight, and that Z took MMA classes for exercise.

PA just testified Z's nose was probably broken, but had no direct X rays to prove it but clinically it appeared the nose "was likely broken". Another Buck talking point bites the dust.
