As an outsider, both the left and the right are arguing over the wrong ideas.

Both sides should see its a doomed from the onset, piece of shit.

Some ideas included in it are good, pre-existing conditions clause for example.

Overall its an underfunded mess, which will STILL have America spending moar per capita than countries with Universal Healthcare.

We even support people financially (prime example being cancer patients) until they are well again, where as you guys have to go into debt for both care and loss of earnings.

Why can't yous stop arguing about it being anything other than the piece of shit it is?

I support a public service with the option of private insurance/care, I support it because I live it and we still pay less per capita than the US...I wonder who's gonna be stupid enough to try call me (of all people) a "leftist" first

Most of us for Obamacare wanted single payer. This is the best we got. And you have to admit it is better than nothing.

This is a re-distribution of wealth from middle income families to lower income families and from the healthy and young to the older and sicker. It re-distributes wealth based on health and economic conditions.

The employer mandate was delayed for a year. 5 million people getting kicked off their insurance is peanuts compared to the 80+ million that will lose their health care next year. Which is the entire point of my post about 2014.
