I agree actually, just jabbing buck a little about the south in preach and practice.
Ever been to Atlanta? I don't have actual data other than actually having been to and spent time in both places but ATL is every bit as gay as San Fran imho.

So how's that possible according to bucks little map?
Probably because moving to a state where they aren't treated as lesser people in the eyes of the law is not practical.

kinda hard for a southern cake shop or florist to refuse service to a gay couple getting married since gay marriage is still illegal in every state in the south, smarty.
It is not illegal for gay people to get married you dip shit.

The state simply does not recognize it.

Show me the last person ARRESTED and IMPRISONED for getting married to their homosexual partner...

so you're telling me there's no LEGAL PROTECTION for gay marriages, eh?

My stance is that certain groups should not be deprived of equal rights and protection without justification. Further legitimizing discrimination against a group you are already discriminating against is bad. Really, it's just that simple.
I fully agree. I just believe its our problem, not the governments.

why are you opposed to providing legal protections for discriminated groups?

if you leave it as "our problem", then the answer this gay couple gets is "tough shit". if you give them force of law, then it's no longer "tough shit".

The south has lots of water fountains. I found it odd the west has so few, being so dehydrating and all.

There is one at pretty much every bathroom both public and private in the south. Seriously.
Out west here I have noticed most stores don't have them.....neither do most public parks for some reason.

See now if you were a little smarter you might have argued that we are the government, but no such luck....this is what makes it boring talking to you.

i'd rather grant your silly bifurcation and point out your oddly (and seemingly bigoted) opposition to giving people the tools they need to fight bigotry and discrimination.

Well now its my opinion they (people)are (giving the tools needed), since they are supporting government. My position is that you are robbing them of their tools by not providing any collateral at all, to the government so they may float a loan off it and make more laws to your liking.

Anyone who wants to limit the government should attack the Fed, because that is their only tool.
