I was real close to ordering the apollo kit off amazon with air cooled hood but when i finally went to order it was sold out. Did some more research on em and found some stuff on growers house that was better quality and a little longer warranty so I went with that.

I got a F3 stabilization breed to do, and then another back cross with the maternal genetics.... By the time retail sales are legal in Alaska (January of 2016) I should have a nice stable "strain" that I can sell commercially (in Alaska).... I got some "full size" OMG coming down in a couple days.... And, DAMN! If it turns out like I'm hoping it should test in the upper 20's (in terms of THC content)... Alaska should have a "cannabis cup" right around then (January), I love to show people that have never been here what Alaska is all about! Just bring a coat, January's are cold up here!
What did you end up with? I got a 3 year warranty on both of my Apollo ballasts... An entire "setup" 25' of 6" ducting, 4 6"hose clamps, ratchet hangars, 2 MH bulbs, 2 HPS
bulbs, a timer, and a 6 way power strip (in addition to the cool tube, reflector and 600 watt ballast) for $179.99 shipped to Alaska... Can't beat that with a stick.....

I fed 1 part General Hydroponics "Flora Nova" grow and bloom (and CALiMAGic).... The same tried and true nutrients that I have fed to my cannabis for many moons... I have only "dabbled" in MG growing and mostly when I was too broke to buy cannabis specific nutrients....
I never even changed the reservoir, I only ever added water/nutrients, maybe if I would of fed it vegan hippy guano and planted lucky 4 leaf clovers in with it, and grow it under home made space lights, I could've had a plant as great as you... But alas, I didn't get the "Hyroot Seal Of Approval".... Maybe the Inda-gro 420 will make up for it; kinda doubt it though, I was REALLY wanting that coveted "Hyroot Seal Of Approval"....
As long as you are sprouted by March first I see no problem! Bring your super secret tech too!

18oz is not Allowed, and no you cant cut the top off of an 18oz'r
so to combat any difficulties if you can not find "red solo" 16oz cups, Go to WALMART and look in the party section for the $1 stiff plastic party cups... They may be my little pony or monster high or even marvel super heroes, I'll warn you though, usage of "duck dynasty" is strictly forbidden, as Duck dynasty is fncking retarded!

that was directed at @Socalrob 's post.. Gh is all bad harmful chems. 99.9% of all bottled nutes are full of harmful chems. All the companies lie. But I was referring to that meme. Some people in the comp did use MG. Its a fact that Mg does contain toxic sludge.
I don't use guano either. I do use clover
as a cover crop.Guano is just as bad as those chems. It carries harmful pathogens. Also alters bats ecosystem, mining for guano in bat caves. Bad for the environment. Its good you didn't dump the resi. Dumping resi's pollutes ground soil, ground water and fresh water sources.
I am a pot snob. I will only smoke true organically grown buds and properly made non solvent hash. I do not smoke bho , qwiso, and co2 extracts. I've been growing for along time. I've learned quite a bit over the years. I also grow for sick people too. So I want to have the cleanest meds possible. I don't want my pot creating sickness and disease.

IMO plants are "designed" to filter toxic sludge.... in the grand scheme of things, a little fertilizer with heavy metals and radioactive compounds are the least of my worries I smoke cigarettes too....
