UPDATE!

Today is day 3. (Counting from the first sight of seedling coming through the soil)

I have 7 seedlings in the pot. I added another cfl, so now im up to a whooping 40 actual watts though its crudely set up. Im working on making a box to hold the lights but until i finish it, this is what they get. 20150723_160950.jpg20150723_160950.jpg

Anywho.....

7 seedlings, one looks like its already dying. Probably my fault because i pulled the seed shell off of it. I know im not supposed to, but i couldn't help it.

They probably will grow incredibly slow, not including the stretch. The one seedling has already seemed to have stretched. When i added the second light i checked on them again after a few minutes and it was turning towards the 27watt bulb.

These poor seedlings are about to go through hell. The soil as you can see is not so pretty. It was taken from my yard and although still looks like topsoil you can probably notice the dirtclots and clumps of only god knows what.

I also have a few seedlings sitting out in the sun i will post pics of soon.

And yes, i am aware 40 watts of cfl is not sufficient.... No i dont care, thats kinda the point. I will be adding more, but not much.

Yes i am also aware that plants sitting in the middle of an empty bedroom with the lights crudely attached to a dresser is not typical or smart.

Im rooting for these ladies and will do my best to keep them alive til harvest while absolutely torturing them in the process.... If im lucky ill yield a few grams of bananna covered shwag.... Thats fine, ill roll it up in a blunt and smoke it to the face.

Wanna see a pic of the hole? This soil came from an area of my yard that had once been used as a garden. I pasteurized it to prevent weeds and put it in this pot with some rocks.
