I think you'll find that quote being taken out of context. He was responding to people who claimed that African Americans were unable to compete at the higher ranked institutions of higher learning.

In effect he was saying that "well if a person doesn't qualify to go to the best, they should go to a lesser place and not get a preferential treatment based only on their race."

Obama will nominate the Justice to replace Scalia and the Senate will obstruct as much as possible, but with the election in November, the more they obstruct, the worse their party looks. And Like I said before, GOP isn't winning the white house, so even if Obama doesn't get his nominee through (he will), Clinton or Sanders definitely will and the court will have a progressive majority.

Affirmative Action just does not allow you to magically get in college. You still have to have the GPA, ACT/SAT scores to be considered.
