Rhizotonic is in a league of its own.... I've tied nitrozyme and cyco but always come back. Are these two products comparable? Can one replace the other?:

But Rhizotonic is mostly algea based/kelp extract, correct?Rhizotonic is in a league of its own.... I've tied nitrozyme and cyco but always come back.
I use it as cloning solution so my 20 dollar bottle is like a year and a half old I couldn't afford to run if I had to use it as directed.i get almost exact rhizotonic and roots excelurator results using General Organics BioWeed and BioRoot. And its far cheaper. Nothing "magic" in the expensive root promoting products that justifies that huge pricetag.
It's the cleanest I've found. like boost some secrets and mostly conjecture about pgr's.But Rhizotonic is mostly algea based/kelp extract, correct?
Kelp and indole-3-butyric acid (IBA)???Rhizotonic is Kelp and IBA.
Yup.Kelp and indole-3-butyric acid (IBA)???
This other one:what other one? Canna Boost? Most likely triacontinol. If you see any gains with it (i havent - not enough to justify the shelf price). Most of your non mineral flowering and rooting boosters are going to largely be comprised of plant hormones derived from kelp (auxins...cytokinins...and gibberellins are tue most common) and humic/fulvic acids and maybe aminos. Ive found that supplying these "extras" is much more effective applied as a foliar spray about once a week. They make for a bushier plant with explosive tops and a vigorous root system. When using mineral nutrients and using kelps and humics...you get organic like bushy growth. And organic soil or organic bottle nutrient has always gave me a bushier and less lanky plant. But i get much better yields using mineral nutes. Combine the 2 for the best of both in my opinion.
I know what is NOT in it anymore, the growth regulator that used to give you huge white as snow fuzzy roots.Do we know what's in Roots Excelurator?
I just started using Cyto Plus which is kelp(cytokinins), humic, fulvic, and chelated trace elements. Put some in the rez and going to do a foliar application. Will see how it goes, I may need to try BioRoot as long as it runs clean as I do aero.BioRoot from General Organics has gave me the roots i want at a much cheaper price than r excel. Its ALL in the hormones. Rhizotonic...r excel...rapid root...and all the rest are very concentrated AUXINS and some other hormones. Nothing else really but marketing. For foliar kelps you want high cytokinins. Makes a much more bushy and compact plant. Lots of tops. Remember...auxins for roots...cytokinins for branchy bud sites...gibberellins for..well i dont quite know. Seed starting maybe? Help me out fellas that know plant hormones. What the fuk do gibbs actually do? And dont cut and paste. Because ive prolly read it before. Tell me in YOUR words!!!
I've always been curious about Gibberellic acid, but my strain is very stretchy so I'm afraid to use it because I've always read it make internodes grow further apart. I would like to use triacontanol, people say you can make your own with alfalfa meal but I haven't seen a definitive recipe. Do you know of one, or a good source?gibb makes a plant grow a lot internodally. if you use gibb and cytokinins at the same time the plant grows quickly and stays bushy. can do the same thing with gibb and triacontonal
Very interesting thanks Roger! I'd never even heard of Brassinolide before, or Brassinosteroid (just read the Wikipedia). It says it is a natural hormone extracted from rapeseed that helps with yield and stress reduction. I'm going to definitely try it. I'm assuming it decreases stretch?http://www.ebay.com/itm/321744127815?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
at 1 ppm thats enough for many gallons
if you have a strain thats already stretchy i'd try

instead, or even something like vegamatrix hard and quick, which has a lot of cytokinins. i've accidentally oversprayed a seedling with hard and quick and it went berserk, just stacking leaf on top of leaf with no internodal length
