This is correct, first law of thermodynamics and the law of conservation of energy make this true. 6000w of energy from any source will produce the same heat.
actually you are incorrect. it will produce 6000w of energy, but this energy could be in the form of heat, light, sound, motion etc. the most efficient Cob leds are around 40% heat/ 60%light and can be even higher, while HPS is around 70%heat/30% light

Please someone else back me up here if I am right or correct me if I am wrong:

3.5 meters x 3 meters = 10.5 Square meters.

1 meter = 3.2 feet.

10.5sqm X 3.2 = 336 Square feet

The reccomended lighting requirements for HPS is 50W per square feet.

50w x 336 = 16800W

For the space, you need 28 X 600W lamps for flowering.
10.5 x3.2 =33.6 Sq ft nott 336

Light is just another form of heat, and you can actually measure it's heat output (that's how we know IR exists)

Furthermore, light is excited electrons, which is what fire is and that's what produces heat.

If you put your hand in the sun it is hotter than in the shade. Excited electrons heated your hand. Light = heat. Excited electrons are what fire is made out of. When electrons vibrate they cause heat. Read that document to understand further, that's a scientific publication.

Wrong? I was just using his math and pointing out that 10.5x3.2 is not 336 but 33.6 that's all but I'm Wrong is my math off does 10.5x3.2 not add up to 33.6?
Yes for some reason my keybourd double presses buttons???

It'll be ok. One time I was going to the store to buy ingredients to make a pizza, I got there got all the ingredients except cheese. I standing there looking at pre shreded bags of cheese. I'm reading the package and on big letters at the bottom and it said contains 2 cups approx! Visibly disturbed I said what the fuck is approx and why it in my cheese. I put everything back and walked out. No pizza was had that night

Light= photons = electronic radiation
Light causes heat when it hits a surface, but light is not heat.

Electric radiation is a form of heat. Thats what a microwave oven is... Heat can have many forms...

Think about it for a second :

where it all begins...at a power station, they take coal, nuclear energy which just emits huge amounts of IR heat due to its volatility...

Anyways lets take a coal power station, they throw coal in an oven this heat gets transferred to the BOILERS (water), the steam from the water then turn generators producing Electricity (another form of heat) Electricity is nice because it can be transfered accross a country to a point where it is needed. Say a light for example, it is converted back into the light....

Heat = energy = light.... in different forms (electrical, light, physical, chemical etc)
