Its a completely fucked up and abusive term for jews. I'm really hating seeing the use of it. It's about as bad as some of the terms that would/should get somebody banned, IMO
the trend seems to be
people calling out racial slurs, calling them normal slurs . saying racist shit then claiming they are not racist. supporting a bigots segregationist policies then insisting they are but innocent policies and the bigot represents the common man, adding i don't like trump while advocating in one way or another for everything he stands for . Are people brainwashed, duped, dumb, or collaborators? or do people know something i don't?
i try to be patient, in case someone has been simply misinformed and for those who are still making up their mind or are unclear on the issues. i am not always an expert on an issue and neither are most people so i try to ask questions and have conversations and debates and sometimes i learn things that alter my views on different things.

True, that.

All the while, some people who are earnest progressives call out others (well, me) for abusing shit head racists for what they are. "If we only were more courteous, we wouldn't have alienated those sensitive swing voters who ended up voting for....wait for it......

Trump!

I totally get that some people have gotten too thin skinned when it comes to PC culture. It makes progressives appear weak, when all they want is for people to stop using gratuitous insults. This snowflake thing recently got popular with the brown shirts. I think it is a disgusting reference. Every bit as bad as some of the more abusive references to lynching back in the day. Don't know how to stop it though. Or even what to say when confronted with such deliberately callous speech. So, I'm not nice to them. Even though Paddy and Stow are aghast.

i thought you didn't want to play.
but god dude please tell us why communism is a no brain-er for the millions killed in genocide . i don't even know what that is saying.
everything is a no brain-er to dead people. and its more then millions killed in genocide so far on this planet. but why would a survivor of genocide choose communism? who are you talking about? when? wtf?
Im actually not so stoned that I cant remember communism being brought up in this thread and it wasn't me. @Fogdog then quickly came to the rescue of democratic socialism as not to have me conflate the two in the same post with a trailer jab and some knife talk.....all from my extremely stoned memory.

Lets see then non sequtir or whatever from you.....which means you feel a point was missed. ...so either you would like to defend communism or democratic socialism based on the two min wages that were posted, one where I was defending capitalism, or you would like to add your own opinion.

Other wise idk.

True that about those carbide wheels. Sets my teeth on edge when I see somebody abusing their knives with one.

I hand hold my knife when sharpening and "degrees" aren't useful to me. I use two pennies to set the angle and check to make sure I'm holding an angle. For a heavier duty knife and my chopper, I use three pennies.

My go-to kitchen knife is a 240 mm (9.4") Gyuto so, too long for me to hold an angle and tip to heel in one pass. Although my smaller knives, that's what I do. For my larger knives, I use light pressure in a back and forth motion while moving the knife gradually from heel to tip and back again. I'll set a timer and switch sides every couple of minutes. After 5k, I switch to a strop for the finish.

Not my knife, which is all scratched and the steel core is stained grey but it looked like this new:
Tip to heel or heel to tip is the western method....the back and forth rocking method is the Japanese method.

You know what? Your knife should be scratched. You will need to grind shoulders eventually and full flat grinds with distil taper lil you pictured benefit from grinding the sides.......

So the angle of the bevel remains consistent as it moves farther into the thicker metal of the knife.

What color are Jews?
what are the choices?
race =color huh?

Race vs Color

When we talk about “race” and “color,” it refers to a race of people and the color of their skin. People have preconceived notions about someone’s race and color of skin. Race and color of skin have been linked together due to observation, experience, and, in general, stereotypes. What we need to understand is that no matter what the race of a person, there are people in every race who have many different colors of skin.

No, you appear confusing race with ethnicity. This conversation could go on forever, just consult PBS and Merriam Webster.

I used it in the same context as everyone else did, Including the one whining he was offended by it. Except you. I checked.

That would preclude me from having to look it up. Context is real in the real world. If you just enjoyed a pack of peanut butter crackers and I pointed out cracker is a racist term you are not somehow a nazi for it.

obama never banned entry from 7 nations, nazi.

and giuliani already said it's a muslim ban. he said so on tape. want to see it, nazi?
Obama banned Iraqi refugees
Trump asked Giuliani to craft a Muslim ban.
Lawsuits will focus on this intent.

The EO was crafted for "danger"
45 has a lot of authority on immigration.
90 days will be here soon.

fine. it's semantics. is Aryan a race? are jews white? what is the value of pointing out that jewish isn't a race, even if that where true?
Because UncleBunk said snowflake was racist. Furthermore Jews were not the only group of folks in the ovens. The politics section is supposed to be healthy debate. Since its not, actual definitions and civility have no place. I like to pretend they do though.

No worries. You seem genuinely offended and the racial slur database just isn't on my reading list. I am happy to switch it to precious anytime I am talking to you from now on. You pointed it out correctly and there is no history of you trying to troll me, unlike the others.
