thank you ever so kindly good sir
I wish you all the best in the future. You appear to be an honorable person with high quality products. It is a tough business. It worked out pretty good. I had fun, made some money and have helped some peeps grow our favorite plant efficiently with proper light intensity. Thank you for the order.
It's sad that the industry is so tough that it pushes out people who work so hard to build great product at reasonable prices.I wish you all the best in the future. You appear to be an honorable person with high quality products. It is a tough business.
it Is sad and it makes me feel sad when honest ventures prove unsustainable especially small outfits with the best intentions. The focus and hopes and dreams of owners and workers are wrapped up in the success of the company. For some, including family food farmers, it is like losing someone very dear. But out of those broken dreams arise new thoughts and ideas and imaginations that are new and vibrant. Whatever @Rahz does he will know he is respected here! It's sad that the industry is so tough that it pushes out people who work so hard to build great product at reasonable prices.
I go out of my way to support small and medium sized business. People say - all business is bad. This is not true. It is usually big big companies who own politicians.it Is sad and it makes me feel sad when honest ventures prove unsustainable especially small outfits with the best intentions. Wondering if you still build lights on the side. Your lights are the best by farIt's the end of something I enjoyed, but much of life is like that. All good things come to an end. As far as the industry being harsh or whatever there's been some innovation which is good, and there have been decisions I've made, some of which were mistakes. I dabbled in DIY parts. I got into the pin fin game late. I purchased a load of pre-built cases and while they are good products it wasn't the best business move, partly due to timing and the pricing changes that happened early '17 and perhaps partly because they looked like cheap Chinese lamps when they weren't. And of course, there were things I didn't do and other people did, and I'm happy for the guys who have succeeded this year.
On the plus side, I have other things to focus on next year. Also, not having a blue ribbon maybe I will get more involved in debate and product discussion Saying whatever came to mind didn't generally seem appropriate as an advertiser. I was here for several years before starting a business so I'll probably continue to be active here.
I appreciate all the kind words.
Couple of beast grew under that little light. Last in one gallon. The last is current. Just a few of many.I would like to build a few lights but it's not something I have time for at the moment. I'm working on building up a landscaping business and it takes all my time. I appreciate the comments and it's good to know my lamps are still out there kicking ass.
