i have a reverse osmosis filter, my water ends up at about 20ppm. Ive never used clonex, only a very weak nutrient solution i aim for about 300ppm max.water temp stays about 72-75. Ive stopped spraying them after the first day, only spraying the dome. I had a bright white led on it but i thought that was a little overkill with the big l.e.d. on as well.First question, do you have good quality water?.
300ppm will kill a clone mate. Nutes are pointless if there aren't roots. You need to give the cutting hormones that stimulates root development.Ive never used clonex, only a very weak nutrient solution i aim for about 300ppm max..
So is the dust that comes from your car brakes... There are alternatives to rooting hormones like you say, aloe even a good honey can root your cuttings. If you don't want anything synthetic then you might have to look into organic growing because I bet your nutes aren't much better.just did a little research,View attachment 4246603 i dont know but seems like clonex is some nasty shit.
ive tried just using water before but not much luck. My tap water comes out about 200ppm though, probably comparible to my weak nute solution? ive never needed any cloning gel either and i do have the light all the way at the top of the room.Tap water roots just fine in aerocloners. Nothing else needed outside of high humidity. As stated previously, you don't need bpvery much light. You don't want them trying to photosynthesize as opposed to rooting. If you are using the light for heat, hang it high.
i am starting an organic grow with soil. Getting away from chemicals altogether.now i just have to perfect an organic cloning technique. So is the dust that comes from your car brakes... ill take some pics of the roots when they get big enough to photo and ill show you it works.they still have capillary action and soak up water/nutrients right?300ppm will kill a clone mate. Gotcha. My tap comes out @220 7.5ish mainly cal with some mag in it according to my water report. I guess have good aerocloning conditions. I see a lot of people having issues with it. Humidty and water temp are factors in aero cloning IME.ive tried just using water before but not much luck. yea, right now im having a hard time keeping the humidity up because the air is so dry, like 30%.Gotcha. My tap comes out @220 7.5ish mainly cal with some mag in it according to my water report. Take more clones than you need and try a few different methods. Peat pellets/jiffy plugs work, I stuck an extra monstercropped clone in some leftover soiless media(perlite and calcinined clay) around the same time I filled up my aerocloner, watered it every now and then when I remembered. It's rooted, not nearly as mich as the ones in the cloner, but it's rooted well. They are all getting binned tho as I don't need them just experimenting with rooting times They rooted under the flowering regimen 10/14 in the shade.i am starting an organic grow with soil. ^^^This is your issue. You need that humidty for vpd reasons, to keep the clone healthy enuff to try to root. I'm not a fan of domes because I don't like hardening off my clones to the environment they will naturally be in. But a dome may help you.yea, right now im having a hard time keeping the humidity up because the air is so dry, like 30%.
i have a dome on them i just take it off for pics. Usually i can keep it up around 90-100% but lately its hard to keep it at 80%^^^This is your issue.
