Bernie Sanders 2020

So private insurance companies can still offer supplemental insurance?

I thought you said they would be banned under Sanders proposal?
OK, we are done here.

You are back to asking stupid intellectually dishonest questions.

Compare your post to what I actually said:

Instead of talking out your ass, cite something from a reputable source that says Bernie's bill does not end private healthcare coverage for practically everybody.

You might need to wait and see if Warren wins the primary, so that when she is then going against dear leader the trolls will then turn on her, right now might be too early while they try to take out Biden.
I'm predicting Sanders amateur trolls like Pad will turn on her once it's clear she's likely to beat him in the primary. The professional trolls working for Putin will too. They work hand in hand.

Just my own opinion though, formed watching them go after each and every candidate when they started looking good.

I missed a lot of the troll activity over the last 4 years, really besides some jumping in and seeing what they were saying here and there or turning on hate radio for a couple minutes on a car ride. I am just getting back into checking back into what they are doing/saying in here, so I will go with your experience here.

edit: 6 years.... time flies....

It doesn't "end private healthcare coverage for practically everybody"..

"Practically everybody" can still buy private supplemental insurance that Sanders M4A act doesn't cover all they want

You said it bans private insurance when it doesn't. You just can't be honest about the act because you know it's popular, especially within the Democratic party, which is why half a dozen of Sanders' primary opponents support it

It took you a long time to finally concede I was right that a hundred million people will be forced from the healthcare plan they like and into Medicare. This is political suicide. With that stupid idea so clearly associated with him, Bernie is un-electable as president and toxic to Democratic Party members who are hanging on to seats in contested districts.

Forced from healthcare they like into something, they like more. If it were "political suicide", Sanders opponents wouldn't have adopted it, your boy Delaney wouldn't have been booed off the stage when he opposed it.

This is where the party is going. Get on the bus or go under it. Doesn't matter to me, you're one insignificant person with an obsolete political opinion.

This is where your belief diverges from reality. People hate the idea of being forced into Medicare. It is a losing proposition. If Bernie's plan were so great why does it force people into it? Why not let them choose?

Everyone rich, who can already afford healthcare wouldn't opt into it, it wouldn't be able to be funded if everyone who can already afford it chose not to opt into it. That's why the ACA wasn't voluntary, yet you love that. Exact same concept. How was Obama able to get the ACA passed if it forced everyone into a somewhat socialist system of healthcare? Or is that question too tough for you?

Being told to buy private insurance if you could afford it or else pay a fine is socialist?

I just can’t take anything you say seriously

There you go again. Making up new questions without answering a question that I've asked time and again: If Bernie's plan were so great, why does it force people into it? Why won't they opt into it?

I would like a public option that I could opt into but I don’t want bernie to force me off my insurance plan

If you ask this question again after I've already answered it, you will show yourself to be a dishonest actor, asking dishonest questions

Sanders bill requires everybody to opt into it because if only the poor people who needed access to healthcare opted into it, there is no way it would be able to be funded

Do you understand that part?

All the poor people without healthcare opt into it, but there is no way for them to pay for it

So, in order to pay for the healthcare all the poor people need, rich people have to also opt into the program

Still with me?

Rich people can already pay for all the healthcare they and the members of their family need, there is no incentive for them to pay more in taxes to provide the healthcare poor people and their families need. A law is required that says that if you're rich enough, you also need to pay a small premium so that poor families can have equal access to the same kind of quality healthcare they have access to

Thus providing quality healthcare to poor people who cannot afford it by no fault of their own, ensuring 30 million + more Americans have access to affordable healthcare, and ensuring 45K fewer Americans die every single year because they don't have access to adequate, affordable healthcare.

Ask that stupid question again, Idiot.
I don’t want bernie to force me off my current plan

Neither do most well off, privileged people, hence the mandate you and other neoliberals are so opposed to

Most poor people would sure enjoy access to the same healthcare privileged, well off people like yourself have access too. Most of them don't have the opportunity to buy into a wealthy family like you did. Even if I were privileged like you, I'd still support universal healthcare, even if it meant being taken off the coverage I currently have to be put onto something better, that costs less and covers more.

my healthcare is employer subsidized through a job i've spent years in the trades working up to

doesn't mcdonald's offer you employer subsidized healthcare?
I suppose everybody else should just pull themselves up by their bootstraps..

Except we live in a country where hard working people aren't granted access to the same kind of healthcare privileged people who buy into wealthy families have access to

everyone in the trades starts off the same, curtis. doing the shit tasks - hauling lumber, picking up trash, you name it. then you get a chance to prove yourself. and you either move up or you move on.

that's how you become a valuable enough asset on a jobsite to get benefits.

it has nothing to do with my wealthy family, only my own work ethic. i guarantee you'd be laughed off any job we worked on within a day, tops.
