Bernie Sanders 2020

Maybe one of the Democratic party loyalists can answer this
I would be happy to answer your question but this:
Your political strategy is to vote for someone you believe can switch Obama-Trump voters back to the Democratic party
is not a question, it is a bullshit statement.
The progressive political strategy is to offer new voters something they want so they have incentive to get involved in the political process, in other words, it's to increase voter turnout and overwhelm the amount of Republicans voting for Trump also having a secondary effect of potentially winning Republican held seats in the Senate
But this idea of what you think the progressive strategy is devoid of reality of how to actually get anything done. It is just pushing the opposite arguments (usually) of what Trump promised which will result in the same getting of nothing done. Democrats need to learn how to keep power for more than 2 years at a time in post-civil rights era.

If your strategy wins, how will a moderate like Biden or Buttigieg get anything done with a Republican held Senate? And why would you support a moderate candidate when a progressive like Sanders out raises Joe Biden in Obama-Trump swing counties?
By working together to win the Senate and House, and not scaring people to the point that they have a knee jerk reaction 2 years later and give the power to stop everything back to the Republicans. I have not seen any real information on how the 'micro-donations' work, and with click farms I do not trust them what so ever to be anything close to reality.

Does anyone have info on how they have made donations, what kind of information you have to give/checking that is done you are who you say you are when you donate?

says the guy who came here to talk about their misunderstanding of socialism.
All I need to understand is Washington is a colossal waste of taxpayer revenue, no matter who is in office.
This is clearly demonstrated by yet another bunch of overpaid lawyers debating yet another impeachment, and being payed using tax $$ to talk.
So debating the topic is moot, as state and local government affect our lives to a much greater degree.
Bi-partisan politics have made it almost impossible for any administration to accomplish anything of lasting value, no matter which party wins.

Like it or not, we all benefit from having a federal government to invest in the nationwide programs that would be impossible to do on a local level.

Things like Interstates help us to bring supplies to each other much more efficiently. Technological investments brought us pretty much everything in ipads/smart phones. And even though Trump has tried to undo a lot of it, the Federal laws on things like toxic dumping, food inspections, drug research, etc have helped our world be a safer place for us.

The Republicans need to actually do something more than just try to revert us to a pre-civil rights era nation with their Wealthy White Heterosexual Male Only agenda that they have been running on since the 70's.

The Democrats have had to fight for the last 50 years to get the party representing the entire country, now they need to start holding onto the ability to legislate for more than 2 years every President before they start getting trolled by the Republicans.

I didn't vote for Trump last time and definitely won't do it this time, he'll be in jail anyways

So you're going to "completely overwhelm Republicans"? Well that's nice and all, but it seems like you're overlooking a key block of voters, a MAJORITY of voters known as moderates. Your oversight is going to cost you the election.

People want a moderate candidate because people want balance, you should be able to understand that. You're so far left that you've fallen of the he cliff, you're really no different than the far right.

Majority of Americans see right through the "free shit" and know better, you should too.

If you think a moderate won't get anything done, how the hell is a radical leftist going to?
it's a re-balance of what's been taken (and held back) from 'we the people' for the last 40 years+ we have 400 bills sitting on McConnells desk from the House. The only thing they approve are unqualified judges. When is the Senate going to start to work for us other than obstruction in an impeachment trial?

your politics seem to align more with republicans, have you ever thought of converting?

That last line is so counterproductive to promoting the Democrats ability to stop having unqualified judges stuffed down our throats. The Democrats legislate for ALL of America, it can't retreat into the 'my team needs to win at all costs' that the Republicans have.

The life expectancy of a 75 year old who just had a heart attack is about 3 years
that's for chronic heart failure and not acute one offs, Bucky.

withholding truth is the same as lying..republicans do that.

here, right matters.

Have you ever thought of that time you were taking it in the ass when tty's former girlfriend -- the one he turned to prostitution -- the one who returned to the home she had shared with him to retrieve her possessions after he had kicked her out of her home the day before you came to visit -- when she showed up, you did nothing other than laugh? Do you think maybe if you were able to go back to that time when you were getting ass fucked maybe you wouldn't have complied with tty and left him instead? Maybe you'd be a better person now?

You sound upset that you're outnumbered by moderate voters
