Bernie Sanders 2020

This is what he did when he was bumbling about during his early years when Warren was earning her PhD and teaching law:

Drawing on the teachings of Wilhelm Reich that he had embraced in college, he argued in an essay for the Freeman that cancer may be caused by emotional distress. That was especially the case, he wrote, with breast cancer, which he attributed to sexual repression of young girls, referring often to The Cancer Biopathy, Reich’s 1948 book that proposed a direct link between emotional and sexual health, in particular the dire consequences of suppressing “biosexual excitation.” Reich had patented the Orgone Box, with which users could enhance their orgasms, the better to ward off cancer. The Food and Drug Administration had banned the interstate shipment of the boxes and jailed Reich when he violated the ban. He died in jail in 1957.

Ultimately Sanders was unable to stay in Stannard. There was no money in writing. The town may have been too remote for him and his infant son. He might have soured on the communal lifestyle. Or his citified upbringing and college life might have made him crave more human interaction. For whatever reason, Sanders migrated to Burlington and had settled there by 1971. He and Levi moved into the back of a small brick duplex at 2951⁄2 Maple Street, not far from the campus of the University of Vermont.

According to friends at the time, Sanders struggled to keep food in the refrigerator and lights on in the house. He attempted to make money as a carpenter, with little success. He sold a few freelance articles to low-budget publications. “He was always poor,” says Sandy Baird, who knew Sanders at the time. He went on unemployment for a while in 1971. At one particularly destitute moment, according to a friend who lived around the corner, he couldn’t pay his electric bill and had to get his power by running an electric cord up from the basement.
The article says he graduated from the University of Chicago. To me it outlines someone in their 20's, he was 27 in 1969, the era of love and hippies, 51 years ago. After reading his essay excerpts they don't sound illogical to me, especially given the times, he seems to still be striving for the same things as he wrote about back then. Someone that couldn't pay their electric bill in their 20's (but now US senator), tells me he understands the plight of the lesser wealthy and his experience living in a kibbutz, or in sharing and mingling communities, tells me he has experience with selfless government.

A quick Google search shows there may be links to stress and cancer. Stress is a cause of Alzheimer's and Benson's syndrome, it can increase cortisol levels adding to weight gain, ect, there's a bit of a controversy with contradicting studies it seems about cancer.. I'm not sure what studies were available back then as opposed to now. Reich it seems was a bit of a quack, but so was Frued and he was pretty popular I think in the day.

You're a fucking loon who attaches himself to insane candidates, I never needed a better reason to discount someone in conversation than that
Actually I am the least likely person to attach myself to a candidate. In fact, I am easily the least loyal person here when it comes to supporting any candidate. I am more likely than anyone to turn against a candidate I once tentatively supported and the only support I ever give any politician is tentative.

Anyone who knows me here can vouch for that.

So, since I am the opposite of what you describe, your conclusion is also the opposite of what you say. You are very much concerned with what I have to say. It's something you care deeply about.

Warren doesn't look likely to win so you have nothing to worry about. Yes, the "hysterical woman" trope is effective too. It's probably why Bernie appeals to men. Women, on the other hand find that Bernie hasn't been an effective advocate for them. I mean even less effective than he is for non-gender specific issues. I'm a wonk and a detail oriented person. I'm not scared of women who demonstrate the ability to get their work done. Sometimes you have to shake things up to do so. Women are often called hysterical when they are just doing their job.
This is some of the hysteria I'm talking about..

I'm not worried about a Warren presidency, I'd welcome it fully. If she does what she says, things will be great imo. More access to higher education, raising min wage, healthcare reform, all pluses in my eye.

Dude, that's a tabloid with a far right bias. Maybe you should pull your head out of your ass. You have done this before against female candidates.

This is why nobody but bernie bros can tolerate fucking bernie bros.

do you know what disinformation and propaganda are? you're falling for it..you're referencing what the russians let you see. jesus:wall:
This is exactly what I meant, it is not propaganda, it is a fact that Russia helped Bernie elevate his message. I am not saying it is the same as Trump, who actively invited it even, but it is occurring, and it is because he is using the language of 'them vs us' to divide our country instead of trying to bring it together.

You get over me. You fucking bernie bros are obsessed with him, like actual cultists. You take it personally when people dislike him as if he's the fucking messiah.

He's not even a democrat, why should anyone support him to win the DNC nomination? And you don't even fucking vote, old racist whore.
This is laughable. Remember messiah Harris? Pot, kettle, black.

Yes, I remember you spreading bullshit from far right sources saying untrue things about her and even after presented with the truth, you just started repeating yourself.

So please, explain what you mean by "hysteria in her appeal to the woke community". That phrase isn't adding up, I don't get it.

I didn't hear anything about veto power over secretary of ed.
BTW Harris is a fraud. She's fake as shit. Has nothing to do with her being a female, just who she is as a person. Maybe stick your head up your ass a little further, as you like it there so much...
Because you say so, dude you're obsessed with her. You have no actual true statements about her and she's not even a candidate anymore. Get over it, just because she's a woman, that really is all you have against her, I'm convinced of it now. You even just turned my own phrase around and used it back on me after I told you to take your head out of your ass. You have nothing.

Bernie is the fraud, literally. His wife should be in prison and he's her accomplice.

you just aren't "woke" like the bernie kids are. they know everything, and everyone except bernie is fake. But he is the real deal because he says key words like "revolution", and something about the top % and how the establishment is evil. that shows what a rebel he is. and how anybody who thinks it is nonsense is just unaware and not woke enough to understand.

Lol nope I made sure to use your precious liberal outlets to show her flip floppy behavior, and I personally think she's phony. Her fake black accent was obvious and cringeworthy, trying to appeal to the common man but her record completely contradicted.

Did you watch C-SPAN vid? If you dont think putting the responsibility of vetting the Secretary of education onto a k-12 student, and based soley on their sexual orientation is hysterically appealing to the woke community, then I guess we have different standards.

No you didn't. You just strung together a bunch of nonsense and opinions like you still are about a fake black accent. It's really all you have. It sounds a lot like this nonsense you said on this thread about "hysteria in her appeal to the woke community".

I didn't see her giving veto power to the kid. I saw her promising that she wouldn't approve someone herself if that kid thought she was transphobic. It was pretty clear. You just exaggerated and made up something about "hysteria to appeal to the woke community".

You still sound like a Trumptard, like you always did.
