It's a good thing that they didn't have data manipulation and the ability to micro target every community to create false narratives on the candidates they did not want to win back then huh.

Unlike now, and we really don't need another puppet for Putin.

Because for whatever reason Putin is propping up Bernie, it is not for America's benefit.

During the McCarthy era, hundreds of Americans were accused of being "communists" or "communist sympathizers"; they became the subject of aggressive investigations and questioning before government or private industry panels, committees, and agencies. The primary targets of such suspicions were government employees, those in the entertainment industry, academicians, and labor-union activists. Suspicions were often given credence despite inconclusive or questionable evidence, and the level of threat posed by a person's real or supposed leftist associations or beliefs were sometimes exaggerated. Many people suffered loss of employment or destruction of their careers; some were imprisoned. Most of these punishments came about through trial verdicts that were later overturned,[8] laws that were later declared unconstitutional,[9] dismissals for reasons later declared illegal[10] or actionable,[11] or extra-legal procedures, such as informal blacklists, that would come into general disrepute. The most notable examples of McCarthyism include the so-called investigations conducted by Senator McCarthy, and the hearings conducted by the House Un-American Activities Committee (HUAC).

In his book The Bureau: The Secret History of the FBI, journalist Ronald Kessler quoted former FBI agent Robert J. Lamphere, who participated in all the FBI's major spy cases during the McCarthy period, as saying that FBI agents who worked counterintelligence were aghast that FBI Director J. Hoover initially supported McCarthy. “McCarthyism did all kinds of harm because he was pushing something that wasn’t so,” Lamphere told Kessler. The VENONA intercepts showed that over several decades, “There were a lot of spies in the government, but not all in the State Department,” Lamphere said. However, “The problem was that McCarthy lied about his information and figures. He made charges against people that weren’t true. McCarthyism harmed the counterintelligence effort against the Soviet threat because of the revulsion it caused. All along, Hoover was helping him.”[12]

Right, it is funny that today we have the ability to actually read the emails that the Russian military was sending about their attack. Down to knowing how many rubles they had as a monthly budget to attack our elections.

Screen Shot 2020-02-27 at 3.52.20 PM.png

I can also show you emails from Don Jr saying he would love the dirt on Clinton, and the messages that Putin's military is saying they support Bernie Sanders and Trump back prior to the 2016 election. Technology is a lot different today than it was back in the day.

I wonder why you keep trying to smother the fact that Russia is attacking our democracy?

Are you an American?

You're explicitly implying Russia is helping Sanders win the Democratic primary, and accusing Sanders supporters of not being American and spreading propaganda to help Sanders having no evidence of either claim. You're accusing anything/everything, regardless of source or authenticity of being Russian propaganda to help Sanders. Everything that helps Sanders is propaganda, anything that hurts anyone else is propaganda. In effect, you're 'crying wolf' about propaganda, which minimizes the severity of actual propaganda and turns people off to future potential threats, as it did in the 50s.

You are saying there is no evidence that Sanders is being helped by Russia? Are you insane? Even Bernie himself has acknowledged that they are.

This is not crying wolf, this is running into a burning building and screaming 'FIRE!'

Changing hearts and minds is one of the reasons I'm here, how about you? This is a place for discussion and the exchange of news, ideas and help, is it not?
Providing knowledge and understanding is not exactly ordering someone around and a benevolent attitude ain't such a bad thing. Trying to reconcile warring factions on the right side of history is not so bad either. 5 to one is a fact of life that everyone should be aware of.
Nobody's perfect least of all me, but I do try to learn, even this late in the game of life.

"Explicitly implying"?

Your logic is amusing.

Remember that thing about 5 positive social interactions guys...
^That post was preaching. You've been doing a lot of that, so I'm just posting stuff to "provide knowledge and understanding" back at you. It sucks doesn't it? I'm here to listen to people's opinions and how they came up with them More of the latter though.

I mean, Buttigieg and Klobuchar are racist too.
Yep, Buddgig is racist as fuck for ever being a mayor who inherited a racist police department. Totally racist, that. Tell us more about Klobuchar being racist as fuck.

London wrote her off because she didn't have enough votes. So, I don't know what kind of pretzel logic he has on that.

"Speaking to reporters in Bakersfield, California, Friday afternoon, Sanders confirmed that his campaign was briefed about the Kremlin's efforts about a month ago and condemned Russia's attempts to interfere in US elections.

"It was not clear what role they're going to play. We were told that Russia, maybe other countries, are going to get involved in this campaign, and look, here's the message to Russia: stay out of American elections," Sanders said.

"And what they are doing, by the way, the ugly thing that they are doing, and I've seen some of their tweets and stuff, is they try to divide us up. That's what they did in 2016 and that is the ugliest thing they are doing -- is they are trying to cause chaos, they are trying to cause hatred in America.""

They are trying to spread chaos, just like he said. What could Sanders do to fix or prevent something like this from happening? It seems like it would be pretty easy to influence an election by claiming a political adversary supports a specific candidate over another. I wouldn't consider tweets and memes to fit the criteria for 'extraordinary evidence' for such an extraordinary claim..

Preaching peace and reconciliation, so ok guilty as charged. I'm here to listen to opinion and provide my own observations and beliefs, like you. I've been balancing out the Bernie postings with stuff on Joe too (who I also like). I come at the world with a point of view and an attitude, like you.

You should meet me in person, I'm way more intense! Many required bandaids and I've left a wake of mutilated ears in my wake!

Something he could do, maybe write a bill about election interference, hold a press conference warning the citizens of our country that are being attacked on a daily basis.

A couple lines as he is getting chased by reporters while boarding a plane because he had known about it for over a month without saying anything is not good enough by a long shot.

They are not just spreading chaos, and your trying make it seem like next to nothing is you being disingenuous at best. About as credible as when Trump cultists say it was just a couple Facebook ads.

The Russians had a budget of $1.25 million a month prior to the 2016 campaign to attack our elections. That is their operating budget, the sophistication and pervasive nature of what they were doing is not what you are pretending it to be.

Why do people vote against there own interest. If you make under 85,000 a year have a family with healthcare you are a fool for not voting Bernie. A Trumptard making about 26,000 a year stocking fucking groceries tried to argue this with me today. He lost. And it only took me 3 minutes to own him
By your line of reasoning, I should vote for Trump? I mean, under Republican regimes, white men such as myself will continue to get better wages and all the other benefits that being a white man affords us in the US. Along the same twisted lines of your "workers are better off with Sanders" logic, my "self interest" is best served if we maintain the status quo where I'd continue to earn 30% more than minorities and women. Also, when I'm pulled over by the police, I can usually talk myself out of a ticket. Also, I'll be dead before the effects of climate change are fully realized. Fuck the kids.

That bit about "voting in your self interest" is a crooked line of logic. Unsurprisingly, you are the one who invokes pretzel logic when it comes to choosing candidates based upon racism. So, I'll just note that you said it and give up trying to understand. Cognitive dissonance is the term for what you suffer from.

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but he's running for president. Have many members of congress penned bills while they're running for president? He's done as much as he, or anyone else for that matter, could do

It was classified when he was briefed about it, it's not really that unusual to keep classified information classified

So be specific, which tweets and memes posted on social media by Russian agents have been the most influential in making Americans support medicare for all and a green new deal? Let's go through some of the so called "evidence" of your claim

To be honest, I'd rather do just about anything than sit with a person who wants to tell me how to live my life. That article I recently posted explains why.

Giving advice, telliing others how they should behave, etc. is a power trip. I'm not saying that you bad or good, just that your power trip is annoying, Especially when you are so often giving advice on that which you know nothing about. Honestly, I like you and some to the factual stuff you post is fine. So I read it. But I'll continue to post self-help articles for people who feel the need to constantly give advice when it was not asked for. I do this for your own good.

He wasn't a senator the last 3 years? He wasn't in an election that was attacked by the Russian military?

Of course he was.

The attack is in open sourced documents like the Mueller report and the Bi-Partisan senate report, as well as the reports that investigated the Russians attack into our election that came out in 2017.

If you want to understand the attacks, feel free to look at the links in my sig, there is a lot of information to digest in there on the attacks they are perpetrating.

And the power of this propaganda is that everyone gets different attacks based on what they care about. I am sure if you showed us your email, we would be more than able to pick through it and find all sorts of propaganda you are being spammed with.
