Back in 03/20 I discovered 2 little guys in a little planter, come to find they were seeds found in some sativa strain. Bottle said "lemon haze", but who knows. I moved them to the wood planter just to see how far I could take this on a very low budget. here we are 07/20 and it seems to still be growing. Any tips, thoughts, advice, opinion, questions or comments would be great!

This is why outdoor growing rocks. You will be able to get more bud off a random bagseed that accidentally germinated than a lot of indoor guys will through intense effort.

I’m not knocking the indoor guys because they love what they do and it takes talent and skill. However, it’s majestic to see what unfolds when the sun and soil do the work for you. There’s also the joy of passing seasons and how they affect the plant — the transition to flower signaling the transition to autumn.

Plant looks great BTW, should be a lesson to anyone who has the opportunity to grow under the sun and in the soil — just do it.

Looks healthy. Might wanna cobble up some support for when those branches get heavy and the wind kicks up.
Thank you Renfro for the time, have support gear ready. Im down in Sandyego but the part of town the wind is a luxury lol.

You rock! Thanks for the post. Im hoping to harvest some what we call back in the day "Pata de Elephante" huge cola. But we shall see what happens on a sun, soil and water diet. Thanks again!

The one thing you may want to think about if you live in area with heavy fall rains — some kind of cover that you can quickly erect for the plant. For example, last year I set up heavy umbrella stands so I could run out and quickly put an umbrella over them when it started pouring. I had bud rot issues but they would have been 10 worse if I hadn’t done that. This year I built a hoophouse and hopefully that will prevent me from running out into the yard in the middle of the night in my long johns.

Suks to say I have sunrise to set and entire nite torespond to emergencies when required but sure does make it eazy. Lol I catch alot heat from the mrs when I pay too much attention but I think it is well worth and I hope to make this well worth the midnite run out emergency call for her too!. Thank you Mrs.Weedstein

Some support as mentioned and perhaps some straw thrown on the soil to protect the soil from getting blasted by the sun and attract beneficial insects.

Honestly at this point I'd chop it and dry it.
Then start a new seed but plant it in mykos.
Amateurs don't start with mykos.

^ That's a joke by the way

plant looks good, doesn't look like you need much to do, kiss I guess?

That's the reward for outdoor growers. I'm using containers for the first time, so I'm going to top out around 5ft probably. Next year, back in the earth for me to get those 7-8 ft trees!!
