COVID: I’m talking to you America..

As someone who does watch the news, I'm here to let you know that the info in your OP is broadcast each day. So you can rest a little easier. Just curious, what are your metrics for determining how you've changed things for the better?
Thanks, I appreciate your candor. I actually do know that. I read reuters and other reputable non bias sites. I don't watch fox cnn nbc, or any tv in general.
Other than people telling me all the time, encouraging me to run for social and political offices, and swearing I am "the voice of reason" and have changed their lives for the better, nothing. NO metrics. Just me and what I know I've spent my life doing. Which is communicating respectfully with folks about social issues.

Ok I'll bite

Define : "non believers" and as in your words "keyboard warriors "
Non believers: People that think that covid isn't dangerous and don't believe asymptomatic carriers can infect others. People that think our lives should just go on as normal with no protection, masks, tracing, etc. Specifically those waiting on herd immunity, since they apparently are anxious for millions to die first.

Keyboard warriers: People who battle from their keyboard with false news, supposed facts, inaccurate memes and induendo's, but are not making any changes in this world other than to spew their inaccurate crap at others.

Both of those types of people inspired this post. As I mentioned, I had a debate about this issue last night with about 35 friends in a group. Only one other person knew that asymptomatic carriers were contagious. Due to that WHO press conference and the media going wild with fake news (which is why I don't watch, they twist all the words) it appears many people do not realize the actual situation we are in. By the time we ended our meeting, all but 3 agreed that they were fed the wrong information. So I thought, if it's like that, there's probably alot more people out their who feel the same. So yes, I used my voice online, to raise awareness. Whether people are aware or not, many are not.

She doesn't actually know that she has.... she assumes and insinuates a lot

Really? I don't assume or insinuate at all. I speak facts and obviously you can't handle the truth.

I don't watch the news because I don't need to. I only want to learn truths so I'll stick with science and experts. I know I've created change because of who I am and what I have done with my life, can you say the same?

I'm done responding to the irrelevant comments, you all have fun with that. It's a complete waste of time as you all have your minds made up, apparently. So much for conversation. I am not even suprised. Have a blessed day!

Lol... and in the first sentence you insinuate that "I can't handle the truth".

I know truth about this virus. My daughter had it. You continue to make yourself the fool among jesters

I think that your friends and family on FB have given you a false sense of credibility and importance. It reminds me of the American Idol contestants that absolutely suck, but are convinced they are amazing because their inner circle tells them how great they are...

slack·tiv·ism
/ˈslaktəˌviz(ə)m/

noun
informal
noun: slacktivism
  1. the practice of supporting a political or social cause by means such as social media or online petitions, characterized as involving very little effort or commitment.

Hey you did that to yourself...it's not an assumption. I've stated all facts then here you come and stated that I had no answer, before I even had time to answer. I have a fucked up memory, I'm slow, be patient.

"She actually doens't know she has because she assumes and insinuates alot."

You wrote that. So obviously you can't handle my truths. Not an assumption when you said it!

Worked for Trump's super-spreader cult rally when he got outsmarted by Kpop kids.

He looks like he just won a jr high school debate.

I don't think it is a political issue if it wasn't for Trump making it one. Technically I think this would belong in Science section, but I get that it is a political topic now.
Racist trumptards like @lokie are very sensitive about trumps complete and utter failure to do what every other nation on earth has done so they take a statement like”perhaps we should get rid of covid” to be an attack on their dear leader

It’s fucking pathetic

True. It's only a political topic because PEOPLE keep making it one. I detest trump as much as the rest but he can't actually "make" anything happen. WE did this and now WE need to fix it. Or not.

Edit: I am aware that trump has his minions doing his dirty work all over. My point is he is not literally "forcing" them. They choose to do so and are just as disgusting as him because of it. I know exactly what he's doing to us maliciously, along with a majority of Republicans.

Honestly with what you've contributed to the topic, I don't really care what you think. Suprise:hug: I actually just reactivated FB after almost a year. Keep on making assumptions.

I bring my thoughts to social media because I'm a cancer patient stuck at home due to all these idiots running around hollaring that covid don't hurt anyone. So yeah - take their ass to work and get shit done so america can get back to post - covid peak normal.

Is that really so bad that I posted this online? Who is the actual fool here? The person trying to do good, or the person being an ass.

I don't have any time of inflated self importance, I'm just not scared to speak my mind. I can handle your immaturity, like a champ.
