You spent 6 months and still you ended up with a black dog……….I'm hoping that light was a couple hundred. But either way it’s your cash and electricity you're using so go for it. Me personally I have far too much involved to use lackluster lighting. My time alone is too valuable to waste On equipment that doesn’t perform to my expectations. It’s why when I “research“ it’s the rep or vendor either giving me a product to try or don't bother. I don’t just read stuff online I need it in my hand and using it. I’m not wasting my money on it either if I’m not sold on the products overall Value. Theres too much equipment in this market. If they believe in the product they’ll make it worth it to try. If not they can generally kick rocks.
Here’s a fact for you. The bud in the top pic wasn’t ready. An opinion is one based with little to no testing. I was offered 6 of those lights and given they’re still built on old outdated tech i Had to pass. There are far too many other Better quality lighting for less out there. There are also absolute monsters out there too for a bit more if you want to spend that kind of cash. I do have lighting from pretty much every manufacture out that produces quality lighting. ill also throw out there again I have been around blackdog lights for some time in other friends grows and they ended up replacing them for either luxx, hlg, growers choice, or next light due to better performance. One of my buddies just got about 55 of the ai3’s from fohse. I have 4 to toss up in my r&d room along with a few special guest lights. But enjoy your black dog light home cat if it works for you rock it. I’ve got better things to do. As for two customers part the last time I only had that few was for a wholesale order for their dispos.……that was the day i bought my trx. So I’m crossing my fingers as I was planning on buying a new 2022 f250 today and that extra 85k would be nice rather then taking it out of my account.
Harvesting based on trichromes is ineffective. Plus if you have a beard watch where the hair falls. The best way to harvest based on test results has been once all the “ hairs” turn brown and recede wait two weeks then chop. Surface trichromes can and will degrade due to light, temp, and a variety of other outside factors and honestly results in ppl pulling early.
also don’t know if you noticed but that bud is aweful airy for 1000 watts of power on it. From what I’ve seen you’ve got much to learn. Perhaps if you jump off of your high black dog horse and listen to folks on here you’ll see that.
