Is a reversal of Roe v Wade decision next?

They are fanatical in their beliefs and many live inside a bubble of not just media, but it makes up a big part of their social life, in many ways rightwing fanaticism centered around abortion has supplanted actual Christianity for many of them. Even then the Southern Baptist roots and theology of evangelicals is bullshit, a religion of slave owners and bigots. Be an asshole all you want, hate brown people, because your thoughts, words and deeds count for nothing, you get into to heaven by blind faith alone.
Dont forget the Calvinist legacy, wherein rich is righteous. Dominionists have the American superrich by the short ones.

It all began with the printing press and the translation of the bible into vernacular languages, that was Christianity's tower of babble. It allowed thousands of demigods and general lunatics to arise and gather congregations, the same process is being repeated by the internet with information in general, not just religious doctrine. There were TV & radio preachers before that, mostly preying on the weak minded and elderly. Today the Calvinist doctrine of prosperity has been adopted by the megachurches with their charismatic and often corrupt preachers, religion is a good con.

The GOP fondly look back to the days when black people and women couldn't vote, they want to return to those days.
Hey it's primary season, so expect the mask to come off, they will tone it down to mom and apple pie by election day. I don't expect it will make much difference most republicans realize they are racists by now and have no problem with it.

Vlad wanted to make Russia great again too and is also conducting a war to achieve it, just as the republicans are, one is a hot war of invasion and the other a cold civil war, but the aims are the same. They are allies for a reason, many in the GOP are still fond of Vlad and he did give them lot's of money for their elections.

Now that Trump is gone the republicans will return to family values and strong morals, while playing a loud tune on the dog whistle. The past can be forgotten or lied about and the insurrection trials will be a political witch hunt. The only fly in the ointment is Trump, who insists on refighting 2020, again and is running amuck among the republicans causing havoc and who might end up on trial before the election.

Trump, abortion and Ukraine are all serving to divide the republicans at one level or another. America had better hope they fuck themselves like Trump, before they can fuck the country. If the SCOTUS rolls back women's rights there is plenty of time for the women of America to organize in a big way for November. The republicans are nominating increasingly radical morons and con artists who pander to the extremists in the base. Today yer republican politician rides herd on a populist and racist bunch of assholes using bullshit, while trying to rake in as much lobbyist and under the table cash that they can, including trading stocks on insider information. The first thing they do is try to sell themselves to the wealthiest billionaire donor while throwing socially destructive breadcrumbs and red meat to the fascist base. It's called performative politics, perform for the suckers by blowing a tune on the old dog whistle and get paid by the billionaires for cutting their taxes and social programs.

In some places, win the republican nomination and they win the election, even from a jail cell for molesting their daughter, or son. "He was a good Christian main"! Who just happened to worship mammon too, but he was gonna git the brown folks and he sure did trigger the libs! If Matt Gaetz won his nomination, he would win his seat from his prison cell, or would come close.

Conservative Supreme Court Justice Barrett, wrote a brief about abortion. She noted the USA needed a “domestic supply of infants” to meet needs of parents seeking infants to adopt. She argued that mothers must birth their baby & give it up for adoption to meet market demands.

No wonder the GOP have such a hard time getting laid, they think of the uterus as a factory.

It was not so much the printing of the bible, but the rise of the pamphleteers that lead to all the bloodshed in Europe. Each side said the other ate babies. . . . . . . . . . So yea, just like today.

'I'm not a moron': Cruz spars with reporters over leak of draft Supreme Court opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, suggests the culprit was a 'left-wing law clerk'
Sen. Ted Cruz on Friday sparred with reporters on Capitol Hill over who leaked the Supreme Court draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, with the conservative lawmaker alleging that a "left-wing law clerk" was the culprit.

During the conversation, the Texas Republican leaned on earlier theories that he espoused while on television earlier this week, where he told Fox Business host Stuart Varney that "some left-wing presumably law clerk wanted to put political pressure on the five justices" that made up the majority in the far-reaching draft decision paving the way for a multitude of states to outlaw abortion.

Cruz said at the time that "if that left-wing law clerk succeeds" in convincing any of the justices to change their final vote — which is not expected until the summer — then it would be "the most grotesque politicization of the Supreme Court in the history of our nation."

No, he just likes acting like a moron.

McConnell says national abortion ban ‘possible’
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said in an interview with USA Today a national abortion ban is “possible” if Roe v. Wade gets overturned this summer.

“If the leaked opinion became the final opinion, legislative bodies — not only at the state level but at the federal level — certainly could legislate in that area,” McConnell told USA Today when asked if a national abortion ban is “worthy of debate.”

“And if this were the final decision, that was the point that it should be resolved one way or another in the legislative process. So yeah, it’s possible,” he concluded.

If a fucking miracle happens and the democrats win big in November, there might be no need to pack the SCOTUS because there could be a few vacancies, while Mitch shits a brick and the base loses it's mind.

With Supreme Court misconduct from Thomas to Alito, Congress must hold hearings/impeachment inquiry
