Is a reversal of Roe v Wade decision next?

GOP's message to poor women. Shut the fuck up and do your nine. And don't expect any help with the little brat. You are on your own.
Remember, women got the franchise in 1920 and that is when prohibition passed. Think most men liked the idea of giving up liquor in 1920? Saloons were king makers in politics too, until then... Don't piss off the women of the country, they are better at social warfare than men and fight dirty too! Mitch is worried about it, he's like the dog that chased the car with the rag hanging out of the hubcap and he finally caught the car by the rag flapping around...

Overturning Roe was the warmup act, they will overturn others next.
Trump and the Republicans didn't stuff the courts with unqualified radicalized activist judges for nothing.

This shit is not going to change until enough people stand up and vote in enough Democrats to wake the Republican party up to the point they start to legislate for 100% of the nation and not the 20% give or take that they placate now that give them the power to keep the mega-rich from being taxed for another generation.

Shouldn’t the Democrats be pushing hard for an amendment to the constitution so as to bypass these religious wackos on the court?

It looks like they are on the popular side of a very important issue.

The problem is the filibusterer. Can't change anything unless you have 60. And the talk of getting rid of it? Could you imagine if Trump only needed 50 with the vice president being 51? I think you may be able to impeach a SC judge (could be wrong) but you would also need 60.

The process for amending the US constitution is difficult and impossible in this political climate. It is easier to win elections and make new laws, like it is a crime for anybody to enter into a conspiracy to deny reproductive rights to women. Another approach that would be easier than a constitutional amendment would be to hold impeachment inquires, starting with Thomas, a simple house majority is required. If they have a house majority and 67 senators, they can impeach the conservative justices, or enough of them, for no reason at all, but misleading the congress under oath would be the reason given. Remember Trump? Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one and they politicized the courts. The republicans have a huge number of senate retirements this year and many have been tainted by J6, including Chuck Grassley. We will see, abortion and guns are pissing off a lot of women, will that translate into organizations, financing, lists of voters, phone calls and knocking on doors, remains to be seen, but women are pretty good at social warfare!

2/3s, 67 votes to impeach, however only 51 to confirm one lately.

There are a few women here that like to dress 1883 and it's not Halloween..I asked why and was told they wish it were that way now-1883o_O

A time when women were worth less than a man's horse, a man's property..divorce? You got the attic or asylum. Your children belong to him.

Yeah, let's go back.

But on a positive note, you can come to Colorado for Medical Asylum like I did; you can also get an abortion.

I don't go into that store where they dress like that; it creeps me out.
Sadly I can not go to Colorado :(. Use to love going. Honestly at this point in time I have no desire to go anywhere south of the border, not even to see the “little house on the prairie” dress up women. After today it’s apparent you all are in for the fight of your lives :(.

Right but what goes around comes around..Trump did pretty well for himself even with super majority..the filibuster needs to go as it's unconstitutional nothing gets done; each party will have their turn which should temper themselves automatically.

The democrats won't pack the court, they want it as an election issue, if they win they will unpack and pack the court, Thomas is gone with just an impeachment inquiry and an indictment for his wife. Others can have impeachment inquiries about lying to congress, as a run up to packing the court and getting rid of as many as you can while humiliating them publicly. This is civil war folks and you are forced to think like them.

Let's talk about unpacking the Supreme Court decision....
