Pretty sure I took a pic but can’t find it so got pic from webshop. I was at the grocery store checking out the dry sausage section for the first time in ages and at the bottom noticed something I haven’t had in decades, bags of puffed pork rind chips. We call it to ‘nibble bacon’.

A kind of Chicarrón

Sounds good nibble bacon… surely is when it’s fresh but this tastes like old dusty closet. Apparently it’s making a comeback in some trendy diet.

Went to a local joint, The Third Place. Under the pile of carbs (chimi churri) is a NY steak. They had a nice twist on chimi too although completely non traditional. Their house made champagne vinaigrette was tasty too, although a little too much honey for me. I love this place. My husband asked if if I wanted to try one of his wedge potatoes when he was chewing on the butt end of the last one  I howled because I was the one who got him hooked on those damn things and I think I didn't even offer I just wolfed them and when he asked if he could have one I think I replied sure (but too late I'd wolfed them all). I can't understand my own mumbles and it's been awhile. So can't really blame him

Upper left the potatoes of Satan and the hub's rib eye. This was a 10/10
