A lonely lady goes to her local pet store in search of an exotic pet. As she looks around the store, she notices a box full of frogs. The sign says: Sex Frogs for Sale! Only $10 each! Money Back Guarantee! Comes with complete instructions!
The lady excitedly looks around to see if anybody’s looking and whispers softly to the man behind the counter, “I’ll take one.” The man packaged the frog and said, “Please follow the instructions carefully.”
The lady nods in agreement, grabs the box, and is quickly on her way home. As soon as she closes the door to her apartment, she takes out the instructions and reads them very carefully, doing exactly what it says to do:
1. Take a shower.
2. Splash on some nice perfume.
3. Slip into some sexy lingerie.
4. Get into bed and position the frog in place.
The lady quickly gets into bed with the frog and, to her surprise and disappointment, nothing happens! The girl is totally frustrated and quite upset at this point. She re-reads the instructions and notices at the bottom it says, “If you have any problems or questions, please call the pet store.” So she calls the pet store.
The pet store owner says, “I had some complaints earlier today. I’ll be right over.”
Within five minutes, the man is ringing her doorbell. The lady welcomes him in and says, “See, I’ve done everything according to the instructions and the damn frog just sits there.”
The pet store owner, looking very concerned, picks up the frog, stares directly into its eyes and sternly says: “Listen to me! I’m only going to show you how to do this one more time!”

In Memory Of Catherine Anne Warnes (stage name Cathy Wayne). The shocking tragic death of a young Australian woman in Vietnam on the 20th of July, 1969.
Many Australian entertainers volunteered to perform in South Vietnam helping lift the morale of men and women who were serving there. From 1967 to 1971, some 50 troupes left Australia for Vietnam.
Cathy Wayne was the stage name of Australian entertainer Catherine Anne Warnes, who was killed during the Vietnam War at a United States Marine base at the age of 19.
She had just finished a song at the non-commissioned officer's club near Da Nang in South Vietnam, and was shot by a bullet fired from a .22 pistol fitted with a silencer, which had been stolen at the base. Cathy died almost instantly as the bullet severed her aorta.
Sergeant James Wayne Killen, an American, was originally convicted of the unpremeditated murder of Cathy. At his first court-martial, it was alleged that he was aiming for his commanding officer, Major Roger E. Simmons.
Cathy had intended to use money earned from her performances in Vietnam to revive her recording career, and to marry her fiancé, Clive Cavanagh, who was there when she died. He stepped forward to cradle Cathy when she slumped to the floor.
Killen served two years of his sentence in the US, before a second court-martial cleared him of the charge and he was released.

In Canada the cops would show up at your door for this and some parents might rip a strip off ya.

Not too many kids this year, hardly any younger ones, but a lot of teens, high school students, maybe Halloween is trending on social media. Not too many masks, but costumes, an opportunity to cosplay perhaps. It was better than last year and the year before killed Halloween with covid. I had one kid show up at 3:30 in the afternoon but municipal regulations say it's over by 7PM. It was a warm evening, so I sat outside on the front porch and handed out treats as they came up to the steps, by 6:45PM there weren't many kids around, I might have 50 or 60 in total.

In US there is a Federal law that only those 21 and older may purchase tobacco. I imagine this would get quick police attention.
