It was a lot of work and I’m still not happy with it. Getting an even watering with drippers is a pain. Im still tweaking it.

9ft straight run of pvc with 3 branches. A inline pump lifts it up out of the reservoir. Each branch gets a manifold at the end.

I contemplated the designs a lot and this just seemed like a more simple design.

Did you make a closed loop? I think you're supposed to have more even pressure that way, that's why I made the loop as small as possible and run the 1/4" to where you need it.

Can anyone recommend a good 10 or 12 port manifold? Could I just build one out of 1/4 or 1/2 inch pvc?

I did mine with 3, 8 ports which gives me 2 lines per pot/per row. So each 8port feeds one full row

That's interesting. I only really need 9, but I guess I could double up. I plan to switch to coco/perlite this summer.

I also have the same filter, but decided to go without it because I thought it was killing my flow. I pump all the water through a 90u bag to collect any debris. Was going to pick up one of those bigger ones (3/4") and tie it in.

I figured with 2 I'd get more even watering.
You could run 2 8's, and a 2 port full flow.
You'll be glad you made the switch.

It just makes your life so much easier, and the growth rate is incredible. I'm likely not going back to promix anytime soon

That's what I like to hear. We raise chickens and have a decent sized garden so the summer and early fall are very busy. The less time in the tents the better

I'm hoping with automation we won't have to, or maybe it won't be a big deal do shut down during the summer with larger plants in coco.

I run a similar system and finally gave up on using drippers, emitters, and sprinklers/sprayers. They stayed clogged so I finally settled on just allowing it to free flow from the end of the 1/4" tubing and it works fine.

I'm using a $53 sump pump from Amazon to push the nutes out to the plants. I also managed to integrate a quick disconnect, so I can remove the bubbler and connect a garden hose. It takes less than 5-mins to do a full reservoir change including cleaning/scrubbing and mixing the fresh nutes. EASY!
