Ukraine has got some of these, it seems there are a lot of rockets to boost it laying around in US inventory and the wings and sensors just strap onto a regular small diameter bomb and it can glide for many miles.

SAAB's Ground Launched GLSDB

SAAB's GLSDB precision-guided munition with a range of 150 km is able to change direction during flight.

It can therefore also hit targets that cannot be affected by traditional indirect fire weapon systems.

You must admit this is the best way to war, with as few troops as possible. Drones and satellite.
The best way to war would be a Ukrainian blitzkrieg armor attack that would surround and cut off large Russian forces using combined arms and maneuver. It would end up costing less lives on both sides by a lot and force brigade level Russian surrenders. The big advantage the Ukrainians have besides new equipment and high morale, is their trained army can use tactics and maneuver, something the untrained mobiks can't do. Right now, they are fighting the only way they can in mud season, a largely defensive war, when the ground dries out it will be a different matter. Only idiots attack in mud season and it is largely by unsupported infantry who don't know how to use combined arms, they are paying a very high price. This will use up much of the Russian army and their equipment and wear them down for when the blow is struck in a few weeks, conditions permitting. The Ukrainians are using a lot of territorials for defense, older guys, the young fellows are mostly training on new equipment in the rear. Younger people can stay up for a week straight on offensive operations and old guys need their sleep and a nice comfy bunker between shooting Russians from a trench.

The only way anyone is staying up for 7 days straight is with drugs.
Someone shooting at you helps tremendously! Drugs if required to exploit a breakthrough and cut off the Russian army, near anything goes in a war of national survival. But Young guys can also catch a nap and get refreshed a lot quicker than an old fart. They can man trenches and check points, no point in taking lots of turf unless ya got a million territorials to fill in behind you. Another advantage is territorials don't get paid as much and support themselves in their home districts unless mobilized so it's a lot cheaper than paying regular troops.

The war in Ukraine divides the republican party from top to bottom, damn near down the middle too. With Trump gone from the scene or otherwise preoccupied, their voices will grow weaker. Ukraine is about to kick some serious Russian ass and they had better be prepared for it along with their Russian allies. The next time Trump says, "Russia if you are listening", it will be from inside a fucking cell and his plea will fall on deaf ears, they too will have bigger things to worry about, like survival.

There is a pronounced partisan gap on Ukraine: A Gallup poll published in February, around the anniversary of Russia’s invasion, found 81 percent of Democrats wanted Ukraine to reclaim its lost lands even at the risk of drawing out the war, versus 53 percent of Republicans. Only 10 percent of Democrats believed the United States was doing too much to back Ukraine, while almost half of Republicans thought American support had gone too far.

These are consequences of letting people like Trump and Tucker Carlson, the Fox News personality who is the Ukrainian government’s most caustic American antagonist, become the loudest right-wing voices on the most urgent security issue of the day.

That may be why Rasmussen and some other center-right foreign leaders have taken it upon themselves to make a case to the American right in favor of the war.

He had best wait on any promises until after this summer, the situation will probably change dramatically in a few weeks, depending on the weather and how the training on the new equipment is going. They are saving up for a big punch, which is why the territorials are doing a lot of the defending in the east while much of the regular army prepares, the ground is muddy anyway and they need to train on the new equipment which is still pouring in. Tanks take ground and that is why we've been sending them, when they are ready, they will most likely drive the Russians out of all of mainland Ukraine this summer and have the Russians bottled up and cut off in Crimea. Whatever equipment Putin has in Crimea will be trapped there after the Ukrainians take the south and blow the Kerch bridge and it will be of little use in the mainland fight.

Some good video from a drone, this one is under FPV control, and it maneuvers to make life hard for the Russian pilot. Maybe a couple of fake (really light) sidewinders under the wings? Would it make them think twice about dumping fuel? Firing a real missile from this thing doesn't look like much of an issue either, but fake sidewinders will make them respect it a bit more!

I can't wait. Did Russians dump fuel on that drone to down it? Seems like they could've just shot it out if the air. Bet they wanted the technology. Russians don't have drones, do they?

They have drones too, but they didn't know if this one was Ukrainian or Turkish, it is Turkish made. The don't want to screw with Turkey, they control access to the Black Sea and have a large navy in it.

Oops, I bumped into you on the sidewalk and you fell.

I walked up to you and pushed you to the ground.

Which one makes me seem more innocent?

Deputy of the State Duma: Russia will be able to resist the United States in Ukraine by announcing mobilization
Russia must mobilize society to resist external aggression. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Dmitry Novikov.

“For us, this should be another brushstroke in the overall picture of the United States, which can only be countered by truly mobilizing Russian society to resist external pressure and external aggression. And this can only be done if we build a more efficient economic model [than the one] that exists today,” Novikov said in an interview with Lenta.ru.

According to him, this is necessary to create a new social system so that every citizen of Russia feels confident in the future. Only in this case, no outside threats will be able to try to destroy the country, the politician believes.

Earlier, John Kirby, strategic communications coordinator at the White House National Security Council, said in an interview with Fox News that possible calls for a truce in Ukraine are now unacceptable. They fear that Russia will use this moment for military purposes

The special operation in Ukraine began on February 24, 2022 by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, its goal, according to the Russian leader, is to protect the civilian population of Donbass from years of genocide by the Kyiv authorities. According to the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor, Ukraine, under the leadership of the United States, was preparing to seize the DPR and LPR long before the start of the NMD, but Putin prevented an attempt to attack the Donbass, which came as a surprise to Washington.

American colonel revealed Zelensky's plans to seize the DNR and LNR
Kyiv planned an armed conflict with Russia before the special operation, but Russian President Vladimir Putin prevented an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack the DPR and LPR. This was stated by the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, Colonel Douglas McGregor.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine were strengthened specifically for this purpose - the fight against Russia. We assumed that Ukraine would take the initiative and attack the so-called self-proclaimed republics of the DPR and LPR, but this did not happen, as Putin prevented this, ” said McGregor in an interview with YouTube channel Judging Freedom.

According to him, Washington was preparing the Armed Forces of Ukraine in advance to attack the DPR and LPR. He added that the US authorities did not expect their plan to fail.

Putin pointed to the preserved connection between Russia and Europe
Russian President Vladimir Putin recalled Russia's historical ties with Europe. At the same time, he made it clear that there are places in the Russian Federation that should not be encroached upon. These include Sevastopol, where Putin arrived on March 18 to open a children's art school and the Korsun children's center, political scientists explain to URA.RU. According to analysts, this trip the president showed that for the country this is a sacred place, from where Orthodoxy began to spread in Rus', and where Russian statehood was strengthened.

The arrival of President Putin in Sevastopol on the day of the return of the city of Russian sailors, as well as the Republic of Crimea to Russia, came as a surprise even to Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev. In his telegram channel, the head of the city wrote that for the opening of a children's art school in Chersonese, "everything was ready for a video conference and a report via special communications." “And Vladimir Vladimirovich took it and came. Myself. Behind the wheel. Because on such a historic day, the president is always with Sevastopol and the people of Sevastopol. Our country has an incredible leader,” Razvozhaev wrote.

Metropolitan Tikhon (Shevkunov) of Pskov and Porkhov introduced Putin to the new art school and children's center Korsun (a branch of Artek). The construction was carried out by specialists of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The buildings are made in the Byzantine style. “Everything turns out as planned,” the president remarked, examining the classrooms with interest.

According to Putin, the support of the Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church Kirill is also important in the implementation of the entire project of creating a historical and archaeological park in Chersonese. Metropolitan Tikhon noted that the patriarch also attaches great importance to it and is interested in how the work is going. Moreover, in Chersonese they plan to create a unique temple-park, which will have an opening dome. “Night services can be held in the open air,” the priest told the president.

At the same time, Metropolitan Tikhon noted that there are great opportunities for continuing archaeological excavations in Chersonese. He told President Putin that before the construction work, excavations were carried out on an area of more than 20 hectares. According to the priest, there has never been such a scale anywhere in the world before. Experts have already discovered 3 million artifacts, many of which will have enough space in the new spacious museum.

The museum and educational complex in Chersonese will include the Museum of Novorossia and the Crimea, the Museum of Christianity, the Reconstruction quarter, the Tourist Center, the Museum of Antiquity and Byzantium, the International Archaeological Center, and the Amphitheatre. In total, the project will cover almost 100,000 square meters. The complex is planned to be completed by 2024.

Chersonese has been a major political, economic and cultural center on the Black Sea coast for more than two thousand years. The uniqueness of Tauric Chersonesos is that it is the only Byzantine city in the world that has survived in its ancient appearance.

A few years ago, President Putin uttered the phrase "sacred Crimea," political scientist and philosopher Boris Mezhuev reminded URA.RU. Putin meant, first of all, Chersonese. “Chersonesos is associated with the baptism of Prince Vladimir. This is the place where Orthodox Rus', Russian statehood, came from.

According to political analysts, unlike the Ukrainian authorities, who repressed the monks of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, doing everything to break ties with the Russian Orthodox Church, Putin strengthens the Orthodoxy that came from Byzantium and increases its importance for the Russian Federation through such projects. Political scientist, doctor of political sciences Dmitry Nechaev sees in this a kind of “message to the Bandera people” – Russia will defend these values. “For Russia, it is important to emphasize the valuable symbolic foundations of our statehood, associated with Orthodoxy. This is the basis of our nation-civilization: this is Chersonese, this is Novgorod, where Russian statehood came from, and this is Kyiv.

Putin once again made it clear to everyone today that the decision to return Sevastopol and Crimea to Russia, taken 9 years ago, is not subject to revision. Both he personally and Russia will defend these decisions , Andrey Serenko, director of the analytical center of the Russian Society of Political Scientists, is convinced.

The Russians are already fighting at the limits of their combat power in Ukraine and getting nowhere in the mud but dead. Ukraine is just chewing them up until the ground dries out, then they can bring the power of modern arms, training and maneuver into play and really rock and roll with a Blitzkrieg when they are setup, and the ground is dry. The mobiks are untrained and can't maneuver or use combined arms, the Ukrainians can, and it will save a lot more lives than the defensive slog in Bakhmut. Every day the Russians grow weaker, and the Ukrainians grow stronger as the arms continue to arrive.

They can mobilize a million if they want, but guns, ammo, uniforms, helmets and body armor will be an issue, so will feeding and transporting them. The Ukrainians are literally killing them by the trainload as they arrive and while it costs them, it costs the Russians a lot more. However, capturing large numbers after cutting them off with a Blitzkrieg, will mean plenty of prisoners to trade for Ukrainian kids and others kidnapped. Russian prisoners would be more trouble to Vlad than dead troops, the dead can't talk or stir up shit back home.

Polish diplomat called the condition for the war with Russia
Poland will come into conflict with Russia if Ukraine loses on the battlefield with Moscow. This was stated by the Polish Ambassador to France, Jan Emerik Rosciszewski.

“If Ukraine cannot defend its independence, we will have no choice, we will be forced to enter into a conflict,” Rostsishevsky said on the air of the LCI television channel. The video was posted on the LCI twitter account.

He explained why Poland might enter into a conflict in Ukraine. According to him, the Ukrainian crisis involves a struggle for Western values, so it is important to defend them.

In December 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Polish nationalists were planning to take over the western part of Ukraine. That same month, the Polish newspaper Dziennik Polska-Europa-Swiat announced that Poland would launch an offensive into Ukraine on 4 May.

"If Ukraine fails to defend its independence, we will have no choice, we will be forced to enter the conflict," says Jan Emeryk Rościszewski, Polish Ambassador to France"
