I must say, those FPV folks are demoing a game-changer. Our generation’s iteration of this.

Another aspect of the hobby are perfect imitations of historic aircraft that fly, usually made by some old fart in his garage as labor of love. They fly LOS and there are stories of young FPV guys dropping by a club full of old farts and treating them to FPV!

My poking into 262 history turned up the HG (acronym: high velocity) III. It looks like a steampunk stealth fighter.

damn, where did he find TWO tiny pilots?
They make them or 3D print them, the jet engines can put out up to 40 pounds of thrust and ya could make a small cruise missile from a couple. So ya can see why they are restricting things a bit, when someone could order parts and shit online and make a cruise missile in their garage. It might not be as big and fancy as Uncle Sam's, but it will get the job done in most cases and could hit a target with GPS from many miles away at close to tree top level. Shit you can even implement scene imaging and comparing technology for navigation today with little difficulty and the thing could even terrain follow to a degree.

Ukraine has been pushing to build its "army of drones", pledging to spend $US550 million on UAVs in 2023, with a focus on local supply deals.

Secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defence Council Oleksiy Danilov has said acquiring kamikaze drones is among the country's top priorities.

In January, the government launched a campaign to raise additional funds for a fleet of 1,000 FPV drones, describing them as "a revolutionary combat tool"

The Finns and Georgians will be kicking them out, maybe that's Vlad's plan to get more mobiks, get them deported back to Russia by stirring up shit in the places they are hiding out. Identify and send back the troublemakers, any Russians protesting or supporting the Russian war effort in the west should be deported back to Russia so they can fight for the motherland.

They are definitely not fucking around with Putin anymore and the plan is to get him out of Ukraine ASAP. I guess the ducks are lined up, enough of Putin's army has been destroyed and it's time to put the dumb fucks out of their misery. This must be rather disheartening for Vlad, watching huge amounts of highly lethal shit flow into Ukraine as his spent army is foundering and spring rapidly approaching bringing doom for the Russians. You only send shit like this if you plan to take ground, lots of it. Bakhmut broke the back of the Russian army and primed them for the coming offensive.
