This is going to be a fun grow to follow, I'm doing a very similar one with Big Bang in a a few weeks. How long are you going to keep vegging?

Right now I have two 65w multi spectrum CFL's directly above them and another off to the side where I've got some blueberry seedlings coming up. I'll probably put the HID on them in another week or two.

A nameless person (not me) put the fan on it while I was out of town and left it there all weekend. What's with this business of putting fans on the babies??? There's plenty of time for that after they get bigger.

Great job of getting them to not stretch, blueberry hates strong nutes,if you remember that you should have no trouble in getting some great blueberry:blsmoke:

I'm going with strictly Advanced Nutrients. Maybe I bought into the hype, maybe not but they do have a money back guarantee; that'll be about $500 if it don't work cause I bought about 14 different products. So far I'm very impressed.

Monday morning I was astonished at how good these babies looked. I went by the directions on the A.N. 3 part system guide and by the next morning they looked like they were in a fight for their lives. I flushed them with clear pH'ed water and added some Super Thrive and this is how they are looking this morning. The really crinkled up one was from a fan blowing on it; I don't think it will ever recover from that.

A new hope, 5 new blueberries:

Quick, what EC and pH levels of water are you giving them? WHat type of light and how close is it to the tops of plants?

The pH was about 6.5; I didn't check the EC. I've got two 65w MS CFL's about 4" away, mostly to the side. I think I pretty much flushed the nutes out but I haven't done anything this morning.

Ok 6.5 is way too high. Adjust the pH to 5.8. You must check EC, at this point I don't know if it's a deficiency or a burn. Too young to be deficient at this point though, you might've burned them. What is the temperature in the room?

I hope you can sort out your plant troubles, they were doing so well... keep on keeping on and give the babies my love and support.

Smoke on... and good luck.

This just in: I pulled the plants, soaked the hell out of them with some pH'ed water. I don't know exactly what the pH is. ...OK, I don't have the slightest idea what the pH is; but it will take paint off the floor! It will either cure them or they will die a mercifully quick death. Thanks for the well wishes MILF.

OK, here's the sit rep: yesterday I had this feeling that the water I was putting on them was WAY too acidic. It was almost as if the air was caustic. I'm not much of a pot grower but I have worked with very powerful acids and I know that elements can exist as not only a liquid but also a gas or solid. That said, I because very suspicious of the aforementioned P.O.S. six in one pH meter that I bought from Stealth Hydro. The plants were getting worse and worse by the hour and some of the leaf tips had literally burned totally off. With nothing left to lose, I grabbed my babies, removed the black rubber grommets and the mylar covers and hosed them down in the sink (yes tap water!) for about a minute each and let as much as possible run out. I covered them back up and put them back under the lights, kissed them good night and left. I came in this morning and they were looking better, not any worse for sure. I'm pretty sure the one that was all crinkled up is done but it has been on it's way out since Monday anyway. I'm sure it was a male :). I went to the pool supply and got a pH kit, brought it back only to find that it went down to 6.8. I took it back and went to the pet store and bought one that goes down to 5.2. I'm about to mix up some rain water with a *little* pH down, some nutes and a drop or two of Super Thrive. I just gotta go with my gut on this one.
