Ok finally done began working on it at like 2:30 am and now it's 7am est. I took breaks inbetween but still.

Anyways I got two questions, first pictures are my flower room, you guys sure that's going to be enough light? Look good?.

And second my new veg room is almost done, need to get a circ fan now. But my other question is my 400watt kind of smells a little funky, is it suppose to be that way? Its not to bad but it still smells a little. Should I leave the glass open? keep it closed is that a fire risk or what?

More then two more questions but thanks for all the info guys really appreicate it.

You could try the booster fan but I never recommend them in general as usually there pretty worthless but try it if it works then great I mean you already have it. Its weird that your light smells Ive never had that happen. I wouldn't put those seedlings right under the light to begin with but off to the side with some indirect light from the hps or a couple cfl's would actually be enough at this stage and just wait on the hps. These are the cheapest actual inline fans I could find http://www.plantlightinghydroponics.com/valueline-centrifugal-fans-c-76_629.html I have a 6 inch one and they work good. Just using cfl's right now though will stop your heat problem until you get the money together for a fan.

i got that same fan my dude it didnt do too good for my 600w but i think it would hold you over till u can get something like this. other than that its lookin good you might want to add some bw poly or mylar to your floor, wood spots, and pots in your room and that will help the light reflect more:bigjoint:

could i get away with this just sucking hot air out into my attic from the light?

http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct.asp?productID=46447

if i could get away with that it be awesome cause i already have 1.

I think I might just talk to my friend who buys everything for the op. The only reason i dont want to is because he dosen't have the type of income he use to, but that was the deal. He pays for everything he gets 40%, i get 50%, and my girl gets 10% for getting all of are tools ready and running to the stores for supples etc.

Ill just be like yo we need a fan lol. I don't think he'll have a problem with it. I just don't think I should be paying if that was the agreement. Ill help out when I can but me and my girl friend are on a real tight budget.

Well see what happens Ill probably end up pitching for a inline fan just so we can do it right.

warisnottheanswer - Yeah I am ging to hang 2mm thick mylar threw out the closet tonight with my lady. Any ideas on hanging mylar? I normally use duct tape but the heat normal makes the duct tape not hold as long and fslls down. Any ideas?

Thanks guys for all the help Ill have pictures up threw out the whole process

I almost caused a fire in my house from mylar falling over my light when I first started out. I came home and my house smelled like burning tires and the mylar was like shrink wrapped around my plants and light. Anyway I did learn how to correctly hang it after that. The best way to attach it is spray adhesive and since you dont want to mess up your walls I would find something to attach it to like cardboard or thin blue foam board you can get at home depot. Just cut the panels to size spray it with the adhesive lay the mylar on top the less wrinkles the better and then nail the panels to the wall.

What I use to do was hang my mylar with duct tape. Then the duct tape that is attached to the wall put a couple of thumb tacks in threw the ductape and into the wall. So basically the duct tape has to rip in order for it to fall. Even if the duct tape falls off it is still held by the thumb tacks.

I would just thumb tack the mylar but with the slightest move it rips down the mylar lol.

Anyways just hearing more ideas to hang mylar. Seems like a good idea nick Ill have to use cardboard though because I am a broke ass lol. My friend works at fed ex and I can get cheap boards.

I might try my way again just so I don't have to get the boxes because once again I am in lazy mood (jobless atm). We'll see how it pans out will deff have pictures up tonight.

Heres the question

When I getmy inline fan can I just hook it to exhaust out and leave the one flange open and just suck air from my room? The room is not sealed totally so I am assuming it would just pull air threw the cracks and under the door to bring fresh air in.

Or should I just cut another hole and make it sealed and run a line of c02 over?

Need opionions wouldn't really like to cut another hole because I already have enough holes to repair, but gotta do what ya gotta do.

Thanks

yeah you can leave it open I do and Im in an attic but if the temps are still high with the door closed after you install the fan then your probably going to need some sort of cool air intake.

And I don't think you should be worrying about co2 until you get the rest of your grow dialed in.

Got another question whats the lowest lowest temp I can have in my flowering room at night? Mine probably gets to about 60 maybe a little more.

Ok thanks nick.

Now I am planning on doing 2-3 mother plants and cloning. Since I grow in soil I'ts going to be a little tricky.

TLD said to use rockwool, how does this method work? Do i need a bubble cloner (what ever that is, just heard it before lol) or what? I just wan't to try my best at everything I am going to do. Details? or something I can read would be cool on the subect. I would search just don't know what it's called or the method or anything.

Thanks once again

Subscribed - just read the whole thread through, and thought "even though he says he's gonna flower at three weeks, no way will he when he sees how small they are" - and then you did.

You've got a nice setup, but like LD says, you flowered way, way, way too early.

Anyhow, I'm along for the ride.

OK here is the information you asked for

Rockwool cloning

bubble cloners

https://www.rollitup.org/view.php?pg=faq&cmd=article&id=196

https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/16320-my-wm-aero-bubbler-cloning.html

Just do a search around this site there are a ton of ways to clone these are just the two ways that were recommended. BTW the bubble cloner I made was one of the best investments I made you can find everything you need at walmart for under 40 $ but do a search around the site and look at what other people are using to clone and see who has good success all the time and make your decision on what style of cloning you want to do.

I am going to go with the bubble cloner probably a 15 site one. Only question is, do I need to have sprayers or will the bubbiling be enough to get the water on the stem?

Ill probably make it this weekend when my partner comes here.

Another question anybody know any stores that would sell a powerful enough fan to cool the 400? Like a local store? Don't really have a hydro shop in town and don't feel like driving, or getting stuff shipped to my house. I've made to many trips in the past months lol. If not i guess Ill have to but just curious.

The stems are actually in the water its just that there is enough air in water to support them look in the dwc/bubbleponics section here to get an idea https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/
and all you need is the bubbles not sprayers needed. Here are a couple other examples

http://www.gardenscure.com/420/propagation/104870-2-bubble-cloners-3-mammas.html
and I thought this was a great idea for plugs its just pipe insulation :bigjoint:

Actually Nick, I (and most others that I've seen) have the stems suspended above the water and getting saturated with the misting from the bursting bubbles - I'm sure that suspended in the water would probably work as well, but the rooting would be slower (not as much oxygen) and the stems would be more susceptible to fungal infections.
