Yep CG you got me going on the Lucas. It seems to be doing a good job on them clones.

I would love to do the co2 but I'm not sure how it would do in my little room. I got to keep the exhaust running the whole time when lights are on just to maintain 85 degrees. The temps would probably be running well over 100 degrees without them.

Unless you have some idea how I could make it work I'll just be working on a better exhaust.

Peace homey.

I hear ya man. I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not getting one in the first place. I do think the diy cool tube will do the same thing with out having to buy a new hood. This is what I'm going for when I build it diy style.

That's 80 bucks with out shipping factored in and It doesn't come with the socket or bulb. Why buy one when I can build it for under 40 bucks?

With the design I got in mind I'm gonna have it attached to my bat wing reflector.

Believe me, I would love to just buy one instead of doing it diy but money is tight right now and I got be thinking about my bills first and Mary Jane second.

Peace brah.

I'll be so glad when this is over so I can start friesh

Sorry about the shitty pics, my eye is still a little jacked up and my camera aint the best.

Peace.

I hear ya brah. I got the confidence in my self to achieve good things but this grow has just been a kick in the balls, one right after another. My expectations were just set to high for my first time. I've learned a lot and I'll learn even more over time. I just got to take it one grow at time and I'll be there someday.

Peace homey

Thanks brother, I appreciate your kind words. I'll take all of em that I can get. As for the cool tube goes, I think it will kick some ass too. I believe it's gonna solve all my heat problems. I was reading a thread were someone had built a diy cool tube just like the one I"m getting ready to build. He basically has the same setup that I have right down to the room dimensions and it knocked his temps down by 10 degrees.

Peace.

right. plus you'll have basically a sealed room for co2 mang. its a must have. aint that right cg
Got that right D,

That Co2 Gas is magical..

It turns an ordinary garden into a full blown bud factory.

Out of all the years Ive been growing, Co2 has been the BEST upgrade.

Its not expensive either, well, the initial cost will leave your wallet thin, but afterwards its chump change.

Since I bought the Co2 controller, my gas use has dropped considerably.

I still need to do the controller bucket if i keep growin' dro'.

Its funny though, since Ive used bleach, I have had no problems with root disease whatsover.

Maybe Ill keep chuggin' along. I dunno' .. Hmm.

Here are some better pics I took this morning.

Not bad..Not bad at all Dropa,

I see lots of hope with that plant.

The hairs and the top growth is still there..

You will still get a decent yield.

You should of seen some of my past grows when I first started out, thats a perfect 10 compared to what I had..

LOL! I aint shittin' ya.

Speakin' of shit, I see you captured the doo doo shot! LOL!!

Send the image into Fox Farms, they may print a label of your dog's bathroom practices and paste em on their bottles!!!

Once again, i dont positively hate Organics, like I hate Obama.. Its great for taste and quality.. But in the yield department it suffers immensely.

Well, bought myself a Sony PSP and Im loading up movies and music..

So, im off to play with my new toy. CG :)

Well I can tell you this...

A plant grown from a seed will not put out like a mature clone..

A plant that has been cloned again and again will only get better with age.

Hey Buddy! Not 2 much longer and you will be smoking the Buds (fruits) of your labor! Nice Job!

Wanted to comment on a few things quickly. Dont remove discolored fans if there is still life in them, the plant is taking what it needs, and if you remove it, it will attack a new leaf for the nutrients it lacks?

You can take clones well into flower, but the later in 12/12 you take it, I find the longer it takes to reveg (back to single blade leaves) then regular growth after that. BUT, Please think about this......... If you take them at end of 3rd week, you have 5 weeks to reveg and grow to the size you want them, and revegging will take part of the 5 weeks. You are BETTER OFF taking them as you put them into 12/12, so you dont have any time loss to revegging. Also, imagine how nice of a bush you can have with a little LST (topping, bending, tyeing, pinching, supercropping) over an 8 week period. This IS the way I prefer to do it! Remember, bigger plants mean less plants. My avatar was an 8 week veg, 1 of 4, all produced between 5.5 and 6.5 Ounces each!

I have not lost any vigor from taking clones from clones from clones...... and so on. I have read what people say, but will refer to personal experience here. Not saying it cant happen, just hasn't.

Keep up the GREAT Work! Good Luck!

What up moose, It's always good to hear from ya bro. The 8 leaves that I did take were far beyond gone and I didn't see the harm in taking them but don't worry that's all I took. As for taking clones from the third week in flower is an idea that I think will be good for me at the moment because I currently lack the light to maintain them and let them grow out for an 8 week veg period. Maybe after this grow I might be able to afford another light. The clones I have now were taken the second week of flower and I believe that they are already reverted back into veg. (I'll post a picture in a minute). I totally agree with you about LST (topping, bending, tyeing, pinching, supercropping) and I'm kicking myself in the ass because I didn't do it before. Back then I was having enough problems with my plants health and I was scared to do it for fear of harming them any further and before I knew it I was in week 6 of veg but now I know better.

When I start my next grow I'm gonna throw these clones into a 2 to 3 week veg period under the 400 watt MH and I'll have to do the LST (topping, bending, tyeing, pinching, supercropping) during that time.

I will take your advise into consideration as soon as I can get my veg room up to par.

Peace.

Good morning Dropa,

I agree with what moose said about taking clones so late into flowering, and I also understand your situation.

As far as a light is concerned for your veg bucket.. You can get a couple of 5 dollar cfl bulbs with one of those cheap adapters, and screw em into one of those 10 dollar reflectors and your good to go.

You dont need to spend big bucks on a hps setup for veg.

But, in flowering thats when the watts are required for best results.

Your clones are beautiful Homey.. Keep up the magnificient work. Im happy for ya! :)

Those girls are gonna be some yielders, just watch out for them unecessary additives...You already know.

Have a great day, and a much better evening. CG :)

Good morning too you to CG.

I also agree with moose, he's been mentoring me from the very beginning. I value his comments as well as yours. Also I'm not considering another big MH for the veg room. I've been looking into a fluorescent fixture that's 2' x 2' for the veg room. I'm hoping I can score at least 4 oz's off this plant (lol well see) and sell two of em so I can upgrade to a better light. At the moment I am using 4 cfls in a in a cheap 10 dollar fixture and they seem to be doing a great job. If I did go that route I would want to put together 3 more of em one for each plant. Although I think a 2' x 2' fixture would be better.

dmoose and CG

Seeing that I have such a small grow space. Do you think that I would be better off just growing out one big plant as compared to growing 4 smaller plants?

Peace my friends
