Mmmm. I'm a bit baked and lost rt now, and I have no idea how you came to that conclusion.

For that price, you are better off with a 250 hps. Just HPS. Forget MH when you are under 400 watts. 600, really.

100+ bucks for 150 watt conversion bulbs? Crazy expensive. Way too impractical for the lumens. Dude, you can buy a 1000 watt hortilux HPS bulb all day for 80 bucks on Ebay. That's the industry standard. See my reasoning here?
i thought the balast had to be abile to take a conversion bulb idk im a outdoors grower excuse my dumbness in this catagory.

No sir, when you're talking conversion bulbs or switchable ballasts you are talking about being able to use both bulb types, HPS and MH.

If you are on a tight budget, go with just 150 HPS. It'll see you through to the end.

Get fancy with the dual spectrums, conversion bulbs, switchable ballasts once you get a few good grows under your chin.

im not worried about an MH bulb really if i get an hps that will be perfectly fine all the way through veg i dont need anything fancey haha.
