stoney, i think you're right bro about the K... and maybe it's being caused by too many nutes in the soil, so a good flush would help, like greenpower suggests?

or possibly because chloramine in my water is blocking K absorption? wild guess...

in any case flushing with RO water sounds like the first easy step... i'll start there.. reular gallon jugs of water are usually RO'ed?

also i found this pic, but it's not labeled very well, so i'm not 100% sure which of the pics is deficiency (probably B and C) and which is toxicity (D?)...

Thanks for the encouragement treeZ, I'm a worryholic sometimes, but I am getting 3-4 lower leaves dropping each day or so, so I'll try to fix whatever def is going on before it gets worse.

Yup, $10 at radio, called 3-lens magnifier. Last grow was also two plants, pulled about half oz off each, using total 148 watts. This time Im using between 148 and 196 depending on temps, but I have 2-gallon pots instead of 1-gallon, so I should increase yield (maybe not quite double, but...). Also I did much better job this time lst'ing and keeping the canopy even height, and finally, I'm gonna flush for MAX 1 week, not 2+ weeks like before...
Damn I didn't realize they where dropping that quick! Everything still does look super healthy though so I'm sure you will turn it around. And as far as yield I dont think it would be a far stretch for you doubling your yield but time will tell :) Anyway good luck figuring out you issue and don't stress to much about it!

thanks for the sub shagster, +rep! i don't know the original source of those charts. i just did an image search on google for potassium deficiency...

yeah bro, and i remember i had the same issue my last grow, but i was looking through my old pictures, and that was happening more around week 5-6 of flowering. i'm only at 3 and 1/2 weeks now, so it feels kinda early. i'll see how they reacted to the flush tomorrow, and start a more careful feeding schedule. veg + bloom nutes but start 1/2 dosage.

if i double the yield i'll be stoked! but even if i just match it, that'll still be well worth it. i'm a light weight anyway, so it's more about how much i'll have to give out to friends :) . i'm not too worried about these issues... but it is a damn relief to have the powdery mildew under control.. that was stressing me out. "greencure" works wonders (so far). i'm sure i'll have to re-apply at some point, but still, whew!

Your doing an amazing job homer! Is there anything that you cant handle? I like being a light weight also. If I can keep duplicating my last grow, I will be a happy man. I think you have a great start on doing better then before.

i am also quite interested in the sog idea, for me it would be about variety. i'm a pretty light toker even though i toke up almost every day, just 0.2 grams just about does it for me on any given occasion... so having a whole ounce of one plant can get old if you know what i mean.. i'd rather maybe have 1/4-ounces of 4 different varieties to keep things interesting. but on the other hand it's so cool to watch a plant get all big and fat... so many options :)
.
I am also a very, very light smoker. But growing several varieties in one grow seems to have its own problems/challenges. What we should do is start a Bay Area 215 exchange. Otherwise, like you, I will simply end up giving most of it away. But if everybody grew something different and interesting, we would at least have variety...

Collectives are very important in the MMJ movement in my opinion, it's a good way to share clones, information, trade medicine get plugs on good nutrient combinations all around a good thing, and as long as you follow the rules of your state and keep out of the news the fed typically doesn't mess with ya. Florida have anything as far as MMJ regulations?

(It is sad that so many have become martyr's for the medical cause because they were outspoken and passionate in what they believed in. For example the church of pot, it was busted I believe last year and if they had stayed off television I feel the dea wouldn't have been as quick to move in on them as religion is VERY sticky territory and what is and isn't a religious sacrament is a dangerous thing for a judge to confirm or deny as it sets precedent.)

thanks arch! good to see you here brotha. for sure man, i feel like i know so much more than the first time, but there's still so much more to learn (i guess that's why they have so many more "rep squares" you can earn, right? lol). other than some deficiency issues and a little powdery mildew that i have in check, things are looking pretty sweet right now :)

i like that idea dread50, i really do. 215 is key, so we don't get into any trouble ;) . let's figure out whens & wheres!

Dread50- what a neat idea! I am also in bay area& I am a heavy smoker, but would be very interested in something like this!
^^^^^^^Ditto
i guess we all agree! sweet... but we gotta save some bud for the vegas convention (meta? arch?)

babies are looking awesome homer.. keep up the good work man
thanks lee, they are looking overall pretty dank. also smelling amazing i might add! your girls are looking good too bro.

yeah for sure hippysmoke. california has some of the most liberal medical laws, which is good in many ways but also has some backlash and it's always used as the "bad example" in other states of what can happen. you also in a med state i take it?

sorry bro, been slackin on getting to all my subbed threads but dam!! very nice man!!
no worries cd! but good to see you in here too buddy. glad you like the pics & thanks for the +rep! your girl grassy is such a monster, can't wait to see what you pull off that.

oh, by the way guys, i spent some quality time today fixing up the girls and fixing up the box. for the girls, i raised their "hat" by about 2 inches and tied it to some bamboo sticks into the soil.

for the box, i had to do something because one measley trueair pushing air in and one pushing air out, just wasn't enough. temps were in the mid 90s. so, i brought back my old "duct fan" and to limit the dust intake, i strapped a 50-cent knee high panty hose thing i found at walgreens (haha) and put some poster board on the rug in the area where the fresh air is coming from. and i made both trueairs push air out. i also got two more trueairs that i will have in case i need more exhaust (they were on sale at target for $12!!). i think this is gonna help keep temps down, and the flush seems to already be helping the leaves a bit. tomorrow i will feed a light veg & nute feeding and see how it goes. tiny signs of powdery mildew are starting to creep back up in a few of the smaller leaves that are toward the middle of the pot (as expected), so i will probably apply dose #2 of greencure in a couple of days.

i'll try to get some pics up later today!

for some reason I thought you were a florida grower like cd :P and yes I do live in a medical state I live north of ya :) considering moving to california for a couple of years for some tailored education but it takes paper that I just don't have...

12 bucks at target! I gotta check that deal out...Sounds like you'll have the exhaust issue licked in a minute! And yeah, PM creeping back up, but it's been a few days since your frist application, and you gotta figuere it'll take 2+ to keep it in check, but you know that! Just checking in really, brother!

good to have you checkin in brother! actually the leaves that i did see signs of it i think were "inside" leaves that maybe i didn't hit well enough with the stuff... i'm not worried, one more treatment should do it and it's safe to do. the exhaust will always be improvable for a while until i legit and get two high cfm fans and carbon filter both intake and exhaust :) . then i'll be set haha... man have you heard of auntie dolores treats?

Homer,

Completely agree. I had assumed that you, at least, were 215 compliant, as we both got our clones at Harborside, but yes, for sure, that should be a requirement. Given that, however, I do not believe there is anything to keep us from exchanging meds, particularly as there are no dollars involved. If folks are really interested I will do the research first and then work on setting something up...
