Only for one 12 hour cycle... the other one I still don't have full. I made an offer at a lower price since I was offering for multiple so I don't know if they'll accept it... i really shouldn't be spending the money but i look at it as a long term investment

it will once you have some time to find what works best for you. It took me my 3rd grow before i put out the kind of quality I was looking for. 1st was super shitty bagseed grow (probably fucked myself right there that plant probably couldn't have finished in less than 120 days some of the nastiest weed i've ever grown plus i did it in miracle gro type soil barf). 2nd grow turned out very good but not ideal and 3rd was awesome

No med men cuts yet just the apollos, but I got cuts of both so I consider it a success if I only get 3 cuts rooted because that is all I need for the next batch since I can only flower 3 at a time. Hopefully #1 (the hardiest/easiest grower)

I used gel which I've read in one place may not be as effective, and I think inserting them into the rapid rooters a lot of the cloning gel got pushed off inserting the stem into the hole.. so if they don't succeed (the others) that's what i'm putting it down to. Next time I will probably pick up some cloning powder or find a better way to get them in with the gel on... maybe even inject a shitload of gel into the entry hole so it's coating the shit out of the portion of stem inside the rooter... yeah will probably try that next before buying more

YES! But a lot less than I pay for it buying it even at the wholesale level I've been getting it at the last few months. I look at it as I either just made what's going to turn out to be a fantastic move or I just bought an extra veg light and some extra lighting for when I move to a med state and get a bigger one going

I did put in a lower than listing offer price... got about $40 off the list price each. Chromes are substantially more expensive and the dimensions on these are good for coverage in my box -- i haven't seen anything yet that shows a chrome model to be worth the upgrade price tho may be. As it is I spent more than I really wanted to spend for the discounted price I got.... but I'm satisfied that I have enough LED light that I SHOULD be able to get good results if these blackstars can deliver them. I don't see why they wouldn't as long as I can keep the canopy fairly even or keep the height down for a sog grow. I am thinking once I run everything from clone I may do a sog for comparison in the smaller pots straight from clone. We'll see.

I'm curious how the medicine man comes out too I grew nirvana's white rhino and I'm hoping/guessing she'll be better than that which would make me happy Still waiting to see if med man #2 is female or not.

First stealth test today got the maintenance man coming... had to clean all my shit up and bump up the ozone generator also move those plants out of the bathroom tonight'll be there last night in the bathroom tomorrow i'm going to get more plastic sheeting like I used on the cab and drape an area in the closet in that room so they can stay in the same room with the ozone generator and they won't be in our guest bathroom during the day having met the maintenance people before i seriously doubt they would care if they smelled weed tho they won't

I am probably going to start a new grow thread when my lights get here. Shoot if I'm lucky maybe my TGA seeds will get here around the same time...

I had to look up the chrome lights. They look like the hydrogrow led new series. That's a new one that starled is putting out. The sales rep sent me their pdf promotion file. They say that the 80led version covers
"Regards as coverage ,shows on catalog.LS-Iris-80--8-13sqm,is tested by our professional engineer,precondition is hang the light above the plant 2-3meter,since this item is high power and super penetration for plants,very high cost performance than Traditional 3w."
Which is 9ft x 9ft. They're recommendations on the older lights seemed quite reasonable but that seems absurdly high coverage for 200 -220w

I think it has to be 6ft from soil. No way anyone has room to grow decent size plant and still 6ft headroom

Thanks I just hope they don't end up being duds for flowering... pretty much the opinions people have are either 'not good enough for flowering' or 'they rule' and not much in between. lovers and haters. so let it be known led. i like you for vegging. But so help me if I just wasted this money on weak ass air buds I will bitch and moan for a long long time about LEDs I will not however blame you if I fuck the grow up -- i'm pretty sure i'll know... and if those apollos keep on chugging like they have been the whole time I don't see how I'll be able to do anything but the LEDs if they turn out poorly. So this should be a good test of whether the LEDs really will work... if they do I'm going to become an LED evangelist in sub's forum since the general opinion there is not great... i've seen people get good and shitty results off LEDs so we're gonna see what's real. If they're not the bomb I'll find uses for them I'm sure and it'll be a costly learning experience... I can always go back to the 400w if I need to

So check G13xHashplant today and she's female!!!!! It turns out (under 40x magnification) that the one that looked like a male preflower at first was a leaf node forming. I found a preflower with the hair JUST coming out of it not yet visible to the naked eye. 40x magnification is awesome especially with built in LED light -- you can see all the resin glands on the plants -- and it cost me < $10. So yeah the count now is 6 females, 1 male and 1 that last i checked i'm leaning toward female now but haven't got confirmation or a strong determination on it yet. 2 of those females were feminized plants tho Still not bad. I hope LED lighting doesn't alter my ratios -- though I hear 70% is actually the real ratio you should get in nature not 50%. Plants all looking good today. OG Kush #2 getting TOO tall -- I guess when they're (relatively) healthy they stretch. She doesn't like being topped too much I'm going to try and get a clone of #2 and start topping her early.... though she doesn't have many branches so i'm gonna lose yield to do so... she is definitely a SOG strain. Probably too stretchy for my grow area unless she doesn't stretch much in flower we'll see -- unless she's the most potent i'm not really worried about keeping this finicky non-bushy strain. Though if I get a clone and the high is worth keeping her going I'll probably do a SOG run on her and see what kinda yields I can get. Maybe top the shit out of the rooted clone to force her into bushiness then take a bunch of clones.

I'm much more psyched about g13xhashplant and white russian being female than i am worried about og kush. Not sure why, maybe because the 1st one was so difficult i've basically written it off. Comparatively the white russian is a very bushy plant like apollo/med man -- g13xhp is another sog worthy strain... maybe i could dual run g13xhp and ogk in a sog one round.

Wow really....that's crazy high,I dunno but any indoor lighting that has to be That far of the planthas a serious flaw in its design...IMO
Not many growers that I know have that kind of headroom to play with.....

I think so I was just reading a guy who pulled a pound with less wattage than I'm running and with less even canopy.. I think it boils down to whether I can keep these girls healthy like they have been (except the og's) the rest of the way through flower if I do I think it's gonna be pretty nice... if I fuck it up we'll see I doubt it's going to be the LEDs fault. I know I'm going to pull more weight if I can get 4 or 5 of those in there without too much heat buildup than with that 400w light. In a grow or two once I get my system dialed in a bit better I could be pulling my best yields yet I can't wait til I get my new strains in and get the strains I have flowered out -- I still have 5 phenos of 4 strains brewing for future flowering... and 3 more strains on the way...

it's going to be time to take clones again this week... still dont' have the rooted ones planted waiting for the local hydro store to be open tomorrow. hope they make it to tomorrow evening. that one sickly rommie still looks sickly.... i may have to let her go -- i got plenty of plants and no room for sickly ones. Those rommies look pretty damn sativa and that worries me for flower.... yours don't seem to stretch too much though

The males stretched like crazy but the females not so much. I've got two in there I'm measuring. Think they've grown an inch and a little in the couple days they've been in there. Could be bc I transplanted right before going in
